Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2021
2.0
Review of CMR Institute of Management.
Placements: Our college was good for placements. Around 55% of students got placements for which students have to perform well. Companies provided top-notch placements.
Infrastructure: Many facilities were not provided to study a specific course in our college.
Faculty: Teachers were rude. They mainly concentrated on the coding provided by the management to circulate the restriction on many things. I don't recommend this college. Management was not so good.
Other: I chose this course as I liked business.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2021
4.0
Review of CMR Institute of Management Studies.
Placements: The placements were good. I got an offer letter from McKinsey with 4.5 Lacs per annum. The top companies that recruited students were McKinsey, E&Y, Amazon etc. Everyone in our batch got an internship, and few had problems due to the pandemic. Even those problems were solved by our college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi for students. The classrooms are decent. Washrooms are clean. The library is huge but has more books on law. I have no idea about the hostel because I never stayed in our college hostel. Canteen food is average, but there are many hotels outside the campus that are good and affordable. The college is under renovation, and they are painting the whole campus.
Faculty: The teachers for our batch were quite helpful and knowledgeable. In fact, they helped us during our internships by telling us how to attend the interview, behave, and deal with things. The course is the same as Bangalore University with little changes. Exams are competitive. I have no idea about the pass percentage.
Other: I chose Bachelor of commerce. This course is a whole of what you need to know. I wish the college had a fest, as there is not even one fest conducted, including other colleges as well.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) - Batch of 2021
4.8
Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: From our course, about 75% of the students placed, and the rest did not like the offer, so they rejected it. It is the best college for BBA and B.Com students.
Infrastructure: It has good quality food and hostel facilities. There are too many places outside as well for food and stay as well. Classrooms are very well-equipped with the best things that could help us study. The food served in the canteen in the hostel is good. It provides good facilities and infrastructure. It has good sports facilities.
Faculty: Faculty members' teaching is great. They are helpful in all situations, and it has a properly structured curriculum. Students can relate to the knowledge shared by the experience of the teachers. Teachers are the best in our course. Semester exams are not that difficult if you concentrate in class.
Other: Campus life is great. Campus surroundings are also good, and there are many places to eat.

They conduct an internship drive but only startups show up, and the roles are related to the customer services, which is nowhere related to what we study.

Good college for BBA in Bangalore. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry.
Placements: A good amount of students were placed in the companies. 80%+ students were placed. The top companies which had come for placement are Tata consultancy, Infosys, Wipro. The highest package is of 40,000 per month and the lowest package is of 10,000 per month. The average package is of 15,000 month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very good. We have Wi-Fi in the college, the speed of the Wi-Fi is good. The canteen in the college is good and offers tasty food, the price is reasonable. The classroom contains good projectors, CCTV also and very good furniture.
Faculty: Teachers are well trained and very friendly with the students. Few teachers hold the doctorate and Ph.D. few of the teachers are pursuing their doctor and Ph.D. The course curriculum is relevant to the industry. We have a good amount of internships and subjects which make students ready for the industry.

Review of CMR Institute of Management Studies.
Placements: Placements in our college were not that good as very few companies visited our college for placements. Moreover, we weren't informed that the company is visiting to hire us. Around 35% of the students were placed. The highest salary offered was by Amazon, and it is Rs. 21,000 per month for a fresher.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not that good. During my tenure, there were the old desks which were bought at the beginning of college. There was no Wi-Fi facility. The library was good. Medical facilities were not available. Sports and games were very poor. Only a few people used to play basketball ball on the campus. I would rate 5 out of 10 for the quality of labs and classrooms. The food was okay and manageable. We faced issues related to the infrastructure of the college. The benches where the iron bar was sharp at the edge and many students hurt themselves very badly and used to get deep cut due to that. After complaints, they never replaced them.
Faculty: Regarding teaching, teachers in our college were very good, knowledgeable, and qualified. The weekly assessment helped us to remember that had been covered in the entire week. Introduction in front of the entire class was helpful for us to get rid of stage fear. Industry exposure was not provided.
Other: Events were conducted in our college from time to time. The campus surrounding was the worst. We didn't get space to park our vehicles. We used to park in front of the college houses, and those people used to blow out air from the tyres, which was one of the worst experiences of this college. If you want to attend the exams, you must be eligible with 75% attendance.

Overall, it is a good college with decent placements.
Placements: Placements in the college were good. We were offered a pretty decent salary package of around 3 LPA. We had to search for internships outside, as the college did not introduce us to any company. We also had a placement cell in our college. It helped the students and also invited well-reputed companies to the campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The size of the classrooms was average. We had a pretty good library in the basement. There was no Wi-Fi facility for students. We also had a small canteen, and the food served was hygienic and reasonably priced. We had a decent auditorium and also an A-V hall to conduct orientation programs and guest lectures.
Faculty: Most of the teachers in the college were very friendly and helpful. Most of them either had completed PhD or were pursuing one. Verbal teaching method was used. In some cases, we were taught from presentations using the projector that is equipped in every classroom.
Other: The college conducted a management fest and a cultural fest. The campus is located in a residential area. We had various clubs and committees to conduct extracurricular activities.

Review of CMR Institute of Management Studies.
Placements: Placements in our college are very bad. As it is a small college, most of the companies don't visit the college to offer placements. The college management is not proper. Only small companies visit the campus to offer placements. The college doesn't conduct proper mock tests for students, nor provides proper guidance to help the students.
Infrastructure: Each classroom has only one fan. There is only one canteen in the campus, which is closed most of the time. We don't even have mirrors in the washrooms. The fee structure is too high, but not even the parking space is proper. The distance between the parking lot and the college gate is 500 meters. The academic buildings are far from the parking area, and so the students can't reach their classes on time.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members are egoistic, rude and stubborn. They might be qualified, but certainly, not helpful. They are not knowledgeable. They only know what they have been taught. I guess they didn't get much exposure. There are a few other faculty members, who are very good and understanding.
Other: There are problems with teachers and office staff. I suggest you not to take admission in this college. They don't know anything. In the beginning, I didn't get my ID card, so I kept asking my class teacher, and he failed to provide it. Other teachers and he shouted at me for losing it. Since I belong to ST, my exam fee was supposed to be less, and it even showed less in the website, but the office staff demanded my ST certificate and said to renew it. The management has my certificate though, they asked me to renew it in irregular time. I feel it's the same case in for other northeast states too, where most of the people are tribals. It is just another excuse for the management to collect money. There is another problem with the fee amount. They promised that the admission amount would reduce by around 5,000-10,000 after the first year, but it is a lie. The management doesn't keep its promises.

Review of CMR Institute of Management.
Placements: The college doesn't provide any good placements. It is a very bad college, and I am sure you will never get placed if you join this college. No good companies visit the college for placements. Many bad companies visit the college to recruit students and the salary package offered is very bad. Studying at this college is a waste of time.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not at all good. Washrooms are pathetic and dirty. They are stinky all the day. The college is in the middle of a residential area, so we aren't allowed even to shout or have fun on the campus. The college don't even have a proper ground. The campus is very small.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are bad. They treat us like school students. They don't give us the freedom to do anything. No good teacher can teach the subject well. All the teachers available in the college are average. They just come to the class and leave. They don't teach anything. The students should study on their own.
Other: The cultural events that are conducted in the college are not good. The college celebrates a few festivals on multiple requests from students.
