If a student fails in an internal exams then they have to give supplementary exams which are conducted right just after your end seems exams, in which you can get maximum C only. If someone missed their internal assessment they need to give a valid reason of his/her absence. Faculty conducts a makeup exam to evaluate the missing components and will be evaluated with little reduction in weightage. Suppose you miss a component of 20 percent then during makeup exam it would be considered as 15 percent and you would lose 5 percent weightage as penalty. Nothing to worry about that, if someone misses the internals then we can request the subject teacher or HOD with the Valid reason also.

Food provided by mess is very delicious. There is variety of food available to students and no meal will be repeated in a week. Separate food is prepared for South and North side students. This mess has many food items such as coffee, tea, samosas, milk, sandwich, etc. Outside my college there are also many stalls on which I students can eat their breakfast this stalls include boiled egg, milk, coffee, tea, etc. The students of this college can eat breakfast before 9:00am or they get a short interval of time 11:00am to 11:15am.

B.Tech IT (Information Technology) is a 4-year Under Graduate (UG) engineering course where students are taught and trained in the concepts of software development. B.Tech IT is on par with the BCA course. However, the career prospects may vary for BCA and B.Tech IT. If you are looking for a bright career in the field of Software Engineering/ Development, this course is the best option. As IT is one of the dominant industries in India, the scope of career prospects are high with this degree. Students aspiring to study an IT course at B.Tech course must note that a good knowledge of Mathematics and Physics is required to excel.It is provided at CMR University.

Along with the minimum score candidate must follow general eligibility criteria that is.

1. Bachelor's degree: a degree from a recognised university and approved by AICTE.
2. A valid entrance exam score: accepted exams - CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, KARNATAKA 2nd PUC
3. Interview: an interview round or group discussion is held by selection committee.
4. Essay: a 15min essay round stating purpose of admission.

Both have good placements at the School of Engineering and Technology, since B.Tech has a vast opportunity option and the ECE Branch would make more sense.

As with the ECE branch one can conqueror not even programming jobs but also the electronics sector.

1. Computer Science and Engineering (CSE): opt for this if you are interested in software development, programming, and computer technologies. CSE has the highest placement package.Electronics and 
2. Communication Engineering (ECE): Suitable for those interested in communication systems, embedded systems, and electronic devices along with programming.

 

The university has not released 2023 placement report as yet. As per the official placements report of 2022, the average package offered during CMR University Bangalore placements 2022 was INR 4.3 LPA.

Candidates who have passed a master’s degree or a professional degree with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ OBC-NCL) or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 7-point scale are eligible to apply for PhD programme.  Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. Course work with at least 55% aggregate can also apply.

Hostel fees is 80,000/- per annum for the Academic Year 2022-23. CMR Group offers Hostel facilities for students studying in CMRU and CMRIT. The hostel is located within the campus and situated in the most happening place in Bangalore. Full time resident wardens are available to take care of hostelers and to maintain the discipline. A stand by power generator is available with full time attendant in the hostel to operate during power failures. Fully furnished and spacious rooms are there.

All branches of CMR group of institutions are best. But CSE or IT stream is best among all. They provide good placement but it also depends on your talent as well as skills. If you have good knowledge about programming language then you have placement as most of the placements are for CSE and IT branch. Do the computer Science course include all the areas of computing. CMR University, one among the top computer Science engineering colleges in Karnataka is a good choice for B.Tech in CSE course.
