College of agriculture: Are these agriculture courses worth pursuing?
Placements: 25% only, and most students are thinking of pursuing an M.Sc. further or starting their own business. I would also like to mention that those interested in private jobs have some options. Every year, 3 or 4 companies come for placements, and the average package is 2 L per annum. You can easily get a private job.
Infrastructure: In college, Wi-Fi, classrooms, libraries, and laboratories for each department are available, along with fields for practical exposure. The hostel is good, and in one room, 3 students are allotted. The infrastructure of the mess is good, and the quality of food there is also satisfactory.
Faculty: The faculty is good, as every department has two faculty members working efficiently. We follow the 5th Dean committee, and the course curriculum is good and relevant to agriculture, but it is not applicable in real-life farming situations. Farmers are far ahead of these theoretical courses.

Students also asked

Q:   What is the career scope of BSc Agriculture?
A:

Agriculture graduates can find themselves a job in research firms, government agencies, agri-business firms, the farming sector, and can also pursue a master's in the relevant field to expand their careers into the academic side. A BSc in agriculture can also act as a foundation for government exams like UPSC. In a country as populous as India, the vegetative practices and the agriculture sector as a whole are only expected to grow from this point on.

Q:   Can I become an Agricultural Entrepreneur after B.Sc Agriculture?
A:

Of course, Agriculture and allied sector not only remained insulated from economic slowdown or pandemic but has registered better growth than other sectors. Other industries have faced the problem of downsizing during a pandemic but the agriculture sector remained aloof from lay-offs, pay cuts and forced resignations. There will never be a downturn or slow down when it comes to feeding the world population.
