Well supportive faculty members.
Placements: 5% of students get placed per year. That depends on the year and companies offered. Recruiting companies are SEED companies and pesticide fertilizer companies. Each year minimum 5% get placed in famous SEED companies and all. Government jobs like agriculture officers, agricultural scientists, agriculturists, and SEED testing soil testing officers.
Infrastructure: High-speed internet connection in computer labs library. We have smart classrooms. Well-rated classrooms are there. Labs are provided with the required and good equipments. Hostels are also have good infrastructure and well-cleaned environment. Food is average but not that much bad. Both serve non-vegetarian as well as vegetarian food. Dispensary available on college campus and weekly visits to medical offices in hostels. In this college, sports and games have so much importance and the selected students can represent higher levels like university, south zone, and sports camps. All will be conducted by ICAR each year.
Faculty: They are helpful if needed. Somewhat good and well-qualified. Of course relevant they mostly focus only on practically oriented studies. In India, agriculture has so much importance so the students who pursue this degree play a significant role in Indian economy. Semester exams are somewhat tough but for most of the subjects, evaluation is liberal. Pass percentage is 50% (including internal marks plus external marks).
Other: I like to do farming and agriculture things. It's a professional course so some more easier to get jobs fast private as well as government. In this course, mostly practical works and all start from the second year but can be start from first year itself. In each year, so much events will be there including melas like (Krishi mela, KVK mela) youth fest, and sports events for the students to improve their extracurricular activities. College day, ethnic day, and scholarships include SSP for native students NTS for non-domicile students, for scholars extra scholarships are provided by the college.

Join this college to build a bright future.
Placements: I joined in 2019 batch. I secured 5000 rank in KCET and got admission in this university. Many private and seed companies hire students for the role of agriculture officer and AAO.
Infrastructure: Good hostel facility is provided with proper rooms and water facility. Separate hostels are there for girls and boys inside the campus. The distance from hostel to college is not much. The college has smart classrooms.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is excellent and knowledgeable. Every teacher is an expert in his/her subject. The course curriculum is relevant and internal exams are easy to pass. The pass percentage in external out of 50 marks is 25.
Other: I love this course as I enjoy spending time with plants. The course can be improved by providing more practical knowledge. College day, Krishi Mela programmes, etc. are organized. Vidhya Siri scholarship is provided to those who need it. For general category, Merit scholarship is given by the university.

You can join here if you like agriculture.
Placements: Around 5 or 6 students are placed in our course. The salary offered in our course is Rs. 25000 per month to 40000 per month. Top recruiters are banks, seed companies, fertiliser companies, pesticide companies, etc. No internships are provided at this college. The main role offered is sales officer. From here, promotion is in the hand of the applicant.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. They have moderate-sized classrooms with digital screens. Labs are provided with all the necessary equipment. We get good practical exposure here. There is no Wi-Fi facility on the campus. We have a digital library. The hostel is not good. We face a water supply problem. They charge a lot for the mess food. The mess food is not that good. We have a small dispensary on our campus, and an ambulance facility is also provided. Sport has a lot of scope in our college. Many of our seniors, juniors, and batchmates have represented our college at the national level.
Faculty: Teachers are not that cooperative, except for a few. The teaching quality is good. Teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. This course curriculum is relevant and makes us ready for both the government sector and the private sector, i.e., we become industry-ready. Semester exams are not that difficult if one studies properly. The pass percentage is more than 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I had no other options. The best thing about this course is the interaction with farmers. Most of the course is completed in the fields.

Academics are good here, but placements and campus life are not up to the mark.
Placements: Less than 5% of students are placed. The average salary offered is Rs. 20000 per month to Rs. 25000 per month. Top recruiters are seed companies, fertiliser companies, etc. No internships are offered in this course or on campus. The top role offered is sales officer. The promotion is in the hand of the applicant.
Infrastructure: The campus is average. Hostels are good, but people from outside the state may find some difficulty in adjusting to the hostel food. The library facilities are good. It is the highlight of the campus. It has two floors with study rooms on each. Wi-Fi is not available for students. Computers with internet access are available. Classrooms are in moderate condition. Lab facilities are also available. Sports have more scope here. We have facilities for football, athletics, volleyball, and basketball. Indoor games have great scope here.
Faculty: Some teachers are good, and they support students in all possible ways. They provide theory as well as practical knowledge. Some teachers lack practical knowledge and make the students stick to only academic knowledge. Students can get the proper education.

Partially satisfied because of faculty and good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Less than 5% of students got placed. The average package offered is 20,000-25,000 per month. Seed companies, fertilizer companies, etc., come here for placements. No internships are offered in this course. The main roles offered are sales officer, and from there, promotions are in the hand of the applicant.

Absolutely perfect for those who study hard and dream of getting good jobs.
Placements: For the selection, merit as well as different quotas matter here. In the general category, students under the KCET ranking of 5,000 can get placements here. Through all other different quotas, few students under the ranking of 14,000 can get placements here. It can be rated 4-stars because it is the top 3rd college in the state. So, the placements are slightly difficult to achieve.
Infrastructure: Facilities are excellent and are available at a low cost. Discipline is maintained in classrooms, library, hostel and labs. Every day, we get a variety of meals. Our seniors are not rude, and they talk with us and help us. On Sundays, we play games along with them.
Faculty: This course is the best of everything. So, we need to study a lot. But it is easy to study here. All the lecturers are talented and highly experienced. We study about 12 different courses like plant physiology, microbiology, genetics, biochemistry, agronomy etc.
Other: B.Sc. agriculture is a course where everyone gets placed or creates jobs. There are a lot of back up plans. We have NSS and yoga classes. We have a monthly fest in our hostel.

An excellent place for learning, with a beautiful environment within the campus.
Placements: There are very less placements in the college. Only one or few companies visit the college for recruitment, and that too for every 3-4 years and not frequently. The companies offered salaries in the range of Rs. 22,000 per month to Rs. 25,000 per month. Mainly agricultural marketing companies visited, and I don't remember the names of the companies. The roles offered were of a sales executive. Nearly 23 of our batchmates were selected with an agreement of 2 years, but a majority of our batchmates rejected the opportunity because of the 2-years agreement.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility provided on the college campus, but we can browse information in the computer section in the library. Wi-Fi facility is provided in the hostel. Labs are equipped with sufficient instruments in each department, and classrooms are excellent with teaching aids like projectors, board, speakers, etc. The library is excellent with lots of books of each subject like entomology, pathology, soil science, genetics, microbiology, seed science, forestry, economics, agricultural extension, etc., daily newspapers, monthly magazines like Negila Miditha, sports magazines, etc., Medical facilities are good with a doctor available 24*7 in the clinic within the campus. Sports are excellent with a huge separate ground for cricket, football, kabaddi, kho-kho, and volleyball. But there is no indoor stadium. Sports are conducted throughout the year with a time table. There are 2-3 sports competitions conducted collectively in every month in all inter campuses like Ponnampete, Hiriyur, and Moodigere. Every year, students get a chance to represent the university in different sports events conducted in different zones of India. Food served in the hostels is not much good. Food items available during breakfast are Chitranna, Aulakki, Vangibath, Puliogare, Poori, Idli Vade, Uppit and Kesaribath. On Sundays, we get dosa, 2 chapatis in lunch, Palya and Anna Sambar with Majjige or Mosaru sometimes. At evening, we get chapati or ragi balls sometimes, and Anna Sambar. In the case of snacks, they will be given only on Mondays and Thursdays in the evening. Non-veg, i.e., chicken is made only on Wednesdays, and there are 2 monthly feasts, 1 mini and 1 big in 15 days of interval. Hostel rooms are good. They are shared by 4 people with separate cots and cupboards. There is also a gym facility, but it is not much good, and TV is available in the hostel. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. All the teachers are well-qualified and are PhD holders. They are practically sound with high knowledge. The teaching quality is good with practical results demonstration. The teaching methods used are boards, PPTs, word document and great exposure is provided. Industrial exposure is provided during training in the final year in agricultural based industries like nurseries, Shimul, Arecanut plates manufacturing companies, and visits to progressive farmers, etc. We get great work experience from the rural agricultural work experience programme conducted in villages for 4 months. We get hands-on training in each department in college during the last semester. The course curriculum is excellent with all subjects in the form of courses like course one in the first semester, course two in the second semester and so on. The curriculum includes subjects entomology, pathology, soil science, genetics of microbiology, seed science, forestry, economics, agricultural extension, computer science, English, etc. The faculty to student ratio is 1:30.
Other: Events like Youth Festival are conducted every year for students to showcase their talents. Annual day is celebrated every year, and mainly Krishi Mela is conducted every year for farmers in different sub-campuses. Scholarships are provided to merit students in every class or the top 13 every year. NSS camps, cleaning programs, and blood donation camps are the extracurricular activities conducted on the campus.
