KCET 2026 Result Date and Time: The exam body, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is expected to declare the KCET 2026 results soon. As per the past year estimated dates, we can expect the KCET results 2026 to be out between May 20 and May 28, 2026. Traditionally, the results will be released around 11:30 AM via a press conference, with the online link becoming active for students by 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM on the same day.

How to Check KCET 2026 Result?

Once the results of KCET 2026 is declared, candidates can check their rank card by following the steps mentioned below:

  • Visit official KEA result portal: karresults.nic.in or cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
  • Click on "UGCET 2026 Result" link on homepage.
  • Enter Registration Number and first four characters of name as per KCET admit card.
  • View and download scorecard, which will consist of the subject-wise marks final merit rank.

Applicants for allotted seats have to report to the institute for complete fee payment and document verification.  

KCET Rank Calculation and Weightage

For Engineering courses, the rank is determined using a 50:50 weightage formula. KEA combines:

  • 50% weightage from marks obtained by candidates in the KCET entrance exam.
  • 50% weightage from 2nd PUC (Class 12) theory marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • If 12th-grade marks (for CBSE/ICSE students) is not available during initial processing, the rank may be marked as "Withheld". Students will have to upload their marksheet on official KEA portal once the link for mark entry is activated.

Amity University, Bangalore has not mentioned KCET as a mandatory entrance exam for BBA at Amity University, Bangalore. However, most UG level admissions at the institute are decided through its scores. Thus, candidates are advised to ask this question from someone in the admission desk.
