SVUCE BTech Eligibility & Highlights 2025
BTech at SVUCE consists of seven specialised courses, including Computer Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, etc. Candidates who have completed their Class 12 in the PCM Science stream and have appeared for AP EAPCET are eligible to apply for the course. It is one of the most popular courses at SVUCE.
SVUCE BTech is a four-year-long course. Candidates applying after a polytechnic diploma can complete the course in three years. Candidates completing their BTech from SVUCE can apply for employment opportunities in both public and private sectors, including government organisations, power plants, manufacturing industries research labs, IT companies, etc.

The total tuition fees of the BTech programme vary across specialisations. The total tuition fee is in the range of INR 44,100 to INR 6 lakh, depending on the specialisation chosen. SVUCE BTech Admission 2025: How to Apply?
SVUCE BTech admissions is done through the CUET UG exam. The eligibility criteria is valid AP EAPCET score and 45% minimum marks in Class 12 exams. The admission process details are mentioned below:
Apply and Appear for AP EAPCET exam. Shortlsited studnets need to appear for the counselling round. The application fee for BTech admission is Rs 2000. The final process includes document verification and fee payment. Students need to carry the hard copies of documents such as Aadhar card, marksheets and transfer certificates. SVUCE BTech admission is finalised once the students pay the semester fees for the first semester.

No, direct admission to B.Tech is not available at SVUCE. However, with the Tech lateral entry program, eligible applicants get admission directly into the program's second year. This is because the eligible candidates already have the basic foundational knowledge of the subject from their prior relevant qualifications and so they can directly start studying in the second year of the B.Tech. The eligibility is:
- The candidate should have passed a Diploma in Engineering or any equivalent course from a reputed University.
- The candidates who are waiting for the results of the Diploma.

If we compare SVUCE, Rajalakshmi Engineering College and CIT Chennai, we can see that SVUCE offers more M.Tech programmes than the other two colleges. Rajalakshmi Engineering College offers 11 M.Tech courses whereas Rajalakshmi Engineering College only offers eight and CIT Chennai only offers three
