It has good faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: Our college students are highly achieve a package of 13 LPA in electrical engineering. There are courses like computer engineering, civil engineering, and electrical engineering. There are two internships. Civil engineering students go to construction buildings and computer engineering students go to software companies.
Infrastructure: It has good infrastructure. Wi-Fe is only for faculty members and not for students. Labs are good. There is a 130-member seating capacity in classrooms. The library is very good with department books and also other books. The food is good. Sports are conducted during only festival season.
Faculty: During the examination, faculty members are very strict in our college. Examinations are very tough and under CCTV footage as the principal sir watching us live. In mid-semester examinations also principal sir watches us on CCTV cameras. On one bench, there will be only one student. There will be three invigilators in one class.
Other: I chose this course because it is my dream. There is no ragging. The campus has friendly juniors, seniors, and faculty members.

Review of Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering from study studying there.
Placements: I am currently in first year, so I will say about the place as what I heard from the seniors here. Placements are good here but to get placed you need to do well in college. The highest package is about 20 Lacs per annum and the average package is about 4 Lacs per annum. Companies like tcs, wipro, infosys, etc. Our college students can get internships from 3rd year onwards or from 5th-6th semester.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is great. Each department has a separate building and they are great, but some rooms and classrooms became old and need to be renewed. Wi-Fi is available in classrooms but of only 35mb per day limit. Library is very big and infrastructure is great. Almost every book will be available in the library. It will become a favourite place for book lovers. Hostel is above average and we have a separate block for first years. Wi-Fi is available but of 35mb per day, so it is no use. Food is excellent here, each day with a different curry, egg omelette 2 times per day and chicken 3 times per week. Sports are great, even have a stadium for sports and tournaments will be conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified, many are Ph.D. holders. They possess knowledge of the subject but they need to improve their teaching skills. But they clarify the doubts of students. The course curriculum is some outdated and need to be updated. Semester exams are somewhat difficult but it is not difficult to those students who are serious about studies. Pass percentage is about 70% and the students mostly clear their backlogs in Next semesters.
Other: I chose this course out of my interest in electricity and electronics and wanted to study about them. The best things about my course is that it teaches you the applications of electricity and how to use it to construct electronics. The things that can be improved are course syllabus should update up to date. Here every department faculty and students conducts an event in their respective departments called inaugural. Every department has their separate technical fest. The students here are limited the crowd will not be more. The college is located in city so there won't be any problem for connectivity. Campus is covered with and trees. It is perfect place for nature lovers.

Our college has some pros and cons. But those demerit facilities shown more impact than merit.
Placements: Placements are good for only CSE and ECE branch and no good placements for other branches. The average package of those placed students is 3.5 LPA and very few students got more than that. I am from electrical branch and from that only 4 members got placed out of 70 students and that too for software.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. It is fully surrounded with greenary. Our college library is one of the finest library with full of books. Our college is one of the old colleges in Andhra. So, all the machines in the lab are old and not working properly. Classrooms are good and equipped with all the facilities. Food is too good and I'm still missing that. We have medical facilities, sports, games and canteen but there is no proper maintainance.
Faculty: Faculty is very friendly to the students and they are very helpful to us. Few teachers have excellent knowledge and great experience. Curriculum and syllabus is changing for every 2 years but it is not so helpful for students to get ready for the industries. Semester exams are not so much difficult.
Other: When I joined to the college I had no idea to about the significance our branch. But now I am very interested in the electrical machines and power electronics. I wish I would be better now if they teach us more practically and they need to improve our labs. Our college best part is fests and events.

Good infrastructure and college. But poor examination facilities. Results are delayed.
Placements: Last year 70% of students are placed with minimum of 3lakhs per annum. This year due to recession there are no good placements. All companies are software and core jobs are found hardly. This year the highest package is 18 Lacs per annum. Companies like infosys, tcs come here.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good with digital board. There is a canteen we can have tasty food there. There are many sports facilities like basketball, volleyball, badminton courts and also all kinds of indoor games are available. Mess food is good with 2 times non veg in a week.
Faculty: There is lag in examination system. Results are declared very lately and examinations are held in inappropriate manner. Faculty is better. But B.Tech all depends on us. We need to self study. There is a library where we can find any kind of books and also digital library.
Other: We conduct many events and fests here.

Q:   Is M Tech at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering better than SPMVV
    A:

Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering (SVUCE) is better than SPMVV requires a comprehensive assessment of various factors: SVUCE generally holds a stronger reputation in the field of engineering, consistently ranking among the top engineering institutions in Andhra Pradesh. SPMVV, while well-recognized, is not as highly ranked as SVUCE.Both SVUCE and SPMVV have qualified and experienced faculty members with expertise in their respective fields. However, SVUCE is known for its stronger research focus and collaboration with industry partners, providing students with exposure to cutting-edge research and practical applications.SVUCE provides ample opportunities for M.Tech students to engage in research projects, often with funding support from government agencies or industry partners. SPMVV also encourages research, but the funding opportunities may be more limited. In summary, while both SVUCE and SPMVV offer quality M.Tech programs, SVUCE generally holds a stronger position in terms of reputation, faculty expertise, research focus, infrastructure, specialisation options, placements, industry connections, research opportunities, and alumni network. This suggests that SVUCE may be the more preferred choice for students seeking a comprehensive and industry-oriented M.Tech education. However, it is essential to consider individual preferences, research interests, and career aspirations when making a final decision.

    AskShikshaGPT on App
Q:   Can I get direct admission to B.Tech at SVUCE?
    A:

No, direct admission to B.Tech is not available at SVUCE. However, with the Tech lateral entry program, eligible applicants get admission directly into the program's second year. This is because the eligible candidates already have the basic foundational knowledge of the subject from their prior relevant qualifications and so they can directly start studying in the second year of the B.Tech. The eligibility is:

    1. The candidate should have passed a Diploma in Engineering or any equivalent course from a reputed University.
    2. The candidates who are waiting for the results of the Diploma.
    AskShikshaGPT on App
Q:   Is B Tech at Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering better than SPMVV
    A:

Both SVUCE and SPMVV are renowned institutions offering B.Tech programs, but SVUCE generally holds a stronger reputation due to its superior placement record, extensive alumni network, and overall academic excellence.

SVUCE's stellar placement record consistently surpasses SPMVV's, with over 90% of its graduates securing placements in top companies annually. This impressive achievement reflects SVUCE's strong industry connections and its focus on preparing students for the corporate world.

SVUCE's alumni network is a valuable asset, providing mentorship, guidance, and potential job opportunities for current students. SPMVV's alumni network, while smaller, still contributes to its placement efforts.

SVUCE's infrastructure, faculty, and industry-aligned curriculum further enhance its appeal. SPMVV, while well-equipped, does not match SVUCE's resources and industry focus.

While SPMVV is a respectable institution, SVUCE's overall strengths make it the preferred choice for most aspiring engineers. Its comprehensive education and strong industry connections provide a promising foundation for successful engineering careers.

Q:   Is P.G Diploma in Journalism (Urdu) offered by Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering?
    A:

Sri Venkateshwara University college of engineering (SVUCE) primarily focuses on offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in engineering and technology. At that time, Sri Venkateshwara University college of engineering did not offer a PG Diploma in journalism (Urdu) or any journalism- related programs.
