College of Vocational Studies (like all DU-affiliated colleges) adopted the CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses. At first, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after the CUET result declaration is explained below:
Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.
Step 2: Submit College of Vocational Studies + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard. Here student must select their preferred course and college as the option.
Step 3: The University has released the dates for three DU CSAS Seat Allocation Lists, which will be out in August for all categories.
Step 4: Once the candidate "Accept" the provisionally allocated seat, the College of Vocational Studies will verify the eligibility and documents uploaded by the candidate online. The college has an option to 'Accept' or 'Reject' the admission of the student basis the verification.
Step 5: Once College of Vocational Studies accords the approval, candidates will have to pay the 'Admission Fee' to confirm their seat.
The unique thing about CVS is its crowd that comes to the college, according to my experience the crowd is very diverse here. Admission to all the College of Vocational Studies courses is entrance-based. College of Vocational Studies accepts CUET UG exam for admission to its undergraduate courses, such as BA, BSc and BCom. The institute along with DU started accepting CUET UG starting 2022 academic year. Before this, admission to UG was based on merit in Class 12.
