I am fully satisfied with the faculty members and placements.
Placements: Placements are not 100%, but it provide 80% placements. It provides placements in MNCs and in the science and technology industry. The salary package offered is also better. It has a good environment. The college's responsibility is to save the student's lives by providing the right place.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Sports ground is maintained. PG is also good, and girl PGs are also available. Boys are not allowed there. It has a secure environment. It conducts bad activities. They provide food on time in good quality. I suggest you take admission after getting full information about it.
Faculty: The staff members are good. Teachers during the exams provide proper clean water. They also support and help students. I think it is the best college in this place.
Other: I chose this college for my studies, and it is my right choice.

College does not provide many useful courses but is useful for personality development.
Placements: The placement percentage at my college is very low. Only 2–3 percent of students got placement in my course. Most of the recruiting companies are local. They are mostly from the IT and medicine manufacturing fields. The internship percentage is also very low. It is around 4–5% only. The top roles offered in my course are supervisors, Assistants and some managers.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi on campus, but the service is not consistent. Science labs are in good condition. The old classrooms were not good but they have built new buildings for study and those are full of modern facilities. The college library is good too. Unfortunately, there is no hostel facility on campus. The medical office is not in good condition. The college organizes sports events every 2 or 3 months.
Faculty: The faculty is good and helpful. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. In most of the courses, the teaching quality is good. Most of the courses in college are not industry-familiar. Semester exams in college are moderate and the passing percentage is about 80 to 85.
Other: I chose this field because of my relevant background from school. This is a useful course for a career in the educational field. There should be more practical classes in the course. The crowd on campus is very enjoyable. Events are organized by the student union at regular intervals. Connectivity to college is smooth and good. Sometimes you may face a rush on the roads.

The pass percentage and the infrastructure of DAV.
Placements: DAV PG College Dehradun does not have a fully-fledged placement cell specifically dedicated to M.Sc. Mathematics students. However, the college organizes some campus recruitment drives for students from various fields, and M.Sc. students can access these opportunities, although the focus is generally more on undergraduate programs
Infrastructure: The college provides well-kept classrooms for M.Sc. Mathematics students. These classrooms are spacious, well-ventilated, and have audio-visual aids. Classrooms are designed to facilitate both lectures and interactive discussions, ensuring an engaging learning environment for students.
Faculty: The M.Sc. Mathematics program at DAV PG College is taught by a dedicated team of qualified faculty members with deep expertise in various areas of mathematics, including pure mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics, and computational mathematics.
Other: The pass percentage of DAV PG College for M.Sc. Mathematics is generally above average, with students achieving good results when they engage actively with the course content. Students are required to score at least 40% to 50% to pass each subject.

M.Sc. in Physics - Batch of 2024

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In our college, approximately 75% of students get placements on campus. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA - 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Approximately 70% of students get internships during their courses in top companies with good salary packages.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is the best in state. There are Physics lab, Chemistry lab, geography lab, etc., having all the necessary equipment in our college. There is a hostel facility also available for college students. Our college has NCC, NSS, and games. Many students of our college participate in national-level competitions per year. Hostel life is good on campus. Thare are two big playgrounds in our college. A badminton yard and a cricket playground are available.
Faculty: All the teachers of our college are well qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and very helpful in nature. The course curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are moderate, neither very easy nor very tough. You must score 33% in each internal and external examination to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue my postgraduate degree in this subject and since this college is considered to be the best in the state so I choose this college. There are several events that happen in our college like essay competitions, speech competitions, singing competitions, etc., on special occasions. The most important things are the staff members and senior students who are very helpful.

M.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2019

The faculty and the facilities are too good, creating a benchmark.
Placements: Around 45% placement percentage with average 4 Lacs per annum package in different pharma lab and companies, top recruiting company was Ayush limited. Students were going through visualisation of their bright future with attractive base packages,it was too good.
Infrastructure: Labs needed for micro level and plant tissue culture with all other mandatory experiment are available in the college campus, Staff is too supportive and all equipments are well maintained and in best working condition, library is full of books related to the subject with AC compartment and study table, rooms are spacious and well cleaned. Canteen related stuff was delicious over there.
Faculty: Teachers and staff members were supportive with deep knowledge of their respective fields though they promote self help but on the other hand they worked as torchbearer for us. Course and exam pattern was of semester-based regulated by grading system calculated in CGPS and SGPS.
Other: The best thing about the course is its increasing demand in the medical field, as botany provides you the detailed knowledge about the merits and demerits of plants with their Medicinal use. The things that require betterment were the dress code of students.

M.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2017

Highly qualified faculty but provide less practical knowledge.
Placements: As it is a government degree college so there is no placement in our course. As most of the students opt to do further studies like Ph.D. after completing M.Sc. They should provide a placement as every student expects to get job after completion of UG or PG degree.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is of moderate type as it was constructed so many years ago. Botany department has well-equipped labs with handling of individual microscopes for practical work. There is a botanical garden with many plant species for the studies purpose. But there is a need to introduce more advanced equipment and lab for the practicals like DNA sequencing, PCR, etc. as our subject is based on practical knowledge.
Faculty: There are highly qualified faculty holding a doctorate degree and having a good command on their subjects. They all are very cooperative and helpful in nature. They teach with new methodologies and give us new ideas to enhance our skills and knowledge. But there should be field visit as our subject is related to the knowledge of identification of plants on the basis or their morphological characters.
