In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech CSE. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12th marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE or even during the course. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have a wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements.

Well, if it comes to pointing the best among these, then surely it will be MBM-Jodhpur. It is a government college with a great average package of INR 4 lpa and huge placements. In the order of the college would be MBM-Jodhpur, PCCOE Pune, JECRC-Jaipur, and then DY Patil Institute of Engineering And Technology. PCCOE can be said to be a good college, as it's reviews are quite good and has ample of exposure to new technologies.

DY Patil College of Engineering Akurdi is little better than DY Patil College of Engineering Pimpri. Mechanical Engineering of DY Patil College of Engineering Akurdi is NBA Accredited. Also, the college is NAAC Accredited with 'A' Grade. Also, it was established in 1984.DY Patil Institute of Technology is also NAAC Accredited with 'A' Grade. And It's 5 Programs are NBA Accredited. Also, DY Patil Institute of Technology Pimpri is Mentee Institute of COEP, Pune under AICTE Margdarshan Scheme. So if you are getting any of these two, take it. They both are good. As DYPIEMR provides many chances for placements, you can surely join this college. It even welcomes a lot of companies for hiring the students at a good pay scale. It gives a lot of opportunities for training in good companies for betterment in our placements. Infrastructure:Every facility required for students and college are available. The campus is eco-friendly with a beautiful view of the garden (and park) with huge space. Cleanliness and maintenance are well and proper. Many options are provided in the canteen. Books, Wi-Fi facility, etc. all are perfect in the college.
Faculty: The college has helpful, knowledgeable, experienced and understandable faculty. They are curious about the student's future. They have good teaching skills. They are friendly with students. All sorts of materials are used for teaching. They provide proper explanations. All the students attend the classes, and the ratio is good.

Direct Second year Diploma admission process:
1. All seats (except institute quota) will be filled through Centralized Admission Process (CAP) by Directorate of Technical Education. The students have to apply Online. Web site -http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/
2. The institution seats for First year (20% of sanctioned intake) will be filled after all rounds of Centralized Admission Process CAP by the Polytechnic. Fee concessions for institute seats are not available. The interested students should apply for institute quota.
