It depends on the candidate's educational background and plans. BA LLB is an integrated course of five years, where students study both LLB and Arts subjects. However, LLB is a three-year course, which is solely around the study of law. Moreover, BA LLB is popular among Class 12 pass wanting to pursue a career in the field of Law. The placement opportunities are also more attractive in NLUs and other private colleges. 

Thus, it cannot be really said which is course is better. However, BA LLB is slightly more popular.

BA LLB degree holders can work in the field of law as lawyers, advocates, solicitors and legal advisors. Graduates can also opt for higher studies and pursue an LLM or even MBA. Dr. DY Patil Law College acccepts MHCET law for admission to LLB. For admission to LLB, the cutoff score required for the General AI category candidates was 93.82, in the last round. Therefore, at 90 score, it is not possible to get admission to LLB, for the General AI category candidates.

For the General Home State quota candidates, the cutoff score for admission to LLB was 91.85. Therefore, for the General HS quota candidates also, the admission is not possible at score 90. However, for categories other than General, it is possible to get admission at score 90, as the closingscore is much lower than 90. 

The CET Cell Maharashtra published a revised schedule for the Centralised Admission Process, or CAP for MH CET Law 3-year LLB 2023. Now, the MH CET 2023 CAP registration form for 3-year LLB for MS and OMS candidates can be filled out till Jul 20. 
MH CET Law 2023 5-year LLB Round 1 (revised merit list), has been released on Jul 8. Also, Round 2 merit list is expected to be released on Jul 19 for Outside Maharashtra State (OMS) and Maharashtra State (MS) candidates.
