It is not professional but my personal experience.
Placements: I don't know about the percentage of students who get placed on the college campus. I know we cannot depend on our college placements. We have to do it by ourselves, but I think the college average package ranges from 2-3 LPA. We have to find internships on our own.
Infrastructure: Facilities like labs, Wi-Fi, library, and classrooms are available. It does not have top-notch infrastructure but it has okay infrastructure. The quality of the hostel is good, especially for boys, but for girls, it is not so good, A medical room is available. The indoor stadium and games are good. Sports equipment is also good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The course curriculum is relevant but needs improvement in exam structure. The pass percentage is 40%. Semester exams are moderate. Students who can not become industry-ready can get by companies at this college. Professors are also good and qualified. Our college needs more highly qualified faculty members.
Other: Courses are available. Fests and events are organised here. Scholarships are available for needy students.

Really good infrastructure with friendly teachers .
Placements: Currently, there are no placement opportunities.
But many of the students get opportunities to participate in various workshops and internships, certificate courses, etc.
Top roles are lab assistant, teacher, etc.
There is no package option as there are no placements.
Infrastructure: The college has new as well as old buildings.
The library consists of three floors for different fields (arts, science, and commerce).
Labs are well-equipped with all necessary.
Wi-Fi facility are available for professors only.
There are two separate hostels for boys and girls, respectively.
Faculty: The college is providing Nep Syllabus as per UGC.
There is a four-year undergraduate programme offering multiple existing options.
The course is medium-level.
Teachers are of minimum Masters level and maximum Ph.D. level, clearing SLET, NET, etc.
The pass percentage is above average.

Our college has good teachers.
Placements: Our college provides fewer placement opportunities. You will not be able to get any company recruitment from the college. You have to study further to get a job, but some students from our college cracked the GATE exam, and they are well-settled now.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Classrooms have good seats. Our college has 3 huge practical labs. They are equipped with air-conditioners. All machines are expensive. Mostly you will be able to get all the useful machines for your practicals. The library has many books. The library has a good environment. The food served in the mess and canteen is not good. I would recommend joining PGs. They provide good food. A huge playground is available in our college where you can play football, cricket, etc. Our college provides facilities for sports like a volleyball court, a basketball court, a badminton court, and a table tennis court.
Faculty: All teachers are good. They take good care of the students. They complete the course on time. All practicals are done on time. They are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant. This helps you to know more about how medicines are made and how vaccines are made. Semester exams are a bit difficult. All the questions are from the syllabus. If you study well, you will get good marks. The pass percentage is 85%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about this course is its interesting practicals. The food served in the canteen should be improved. Many events and fests are held in our college.

It is a good college with excellent infrastructure, teachers, and a mess.
Placements: It is an excellent college. We have 37 students in our batch. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. Top recruiting companies like ABC Consultants, Randstad India, Pipal Tree Service, etc., visit our campus. Almost 60% of students get internships. Top roles offered are biomedical engineer, biochemist, medical scientist, clinical technician, and microbiologist.
Infrastructure: Labs are good. There are many computers and a basic lab for technical work. Wi-Fi is available for technical work. We have a college library and a departmental library where we get all books we need. A canteen and playground are available in the hostel. Basketball and badminton courts are available for sports and games.
Faculty: Our teachers have doctorates. They are well-qualified. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is 80%.
Other: I chose this course to become a biochemist. In this course, you'll learn about biology and technology and how to connect biology with technology. Fees should be less.

It is the best college in Tezpur.
Placements: Students don't get placed in our course. The salary package is not decent. Top recruiting companies don't visit our college to recruit students. Students do not have experience in terms of internships. Our college does not provide any kind of role in this course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Our college has peaceful environment. Our department is decent. Everything is arranged well in this college. Wi-Fi is available. The internet speed is very good. Classrooms are well-maintained. They are cleaned every day. The library is decent. The books are arranged on shelves according to the respective departments. Laboratories are good and well-equipped. I am a day scholar, so I do not know about hostel facilities. Medical facilities are not available. There is a mini first-aid kit for students. The food served in the canteen food is average. Sports are conducted in this college. It has a playground and courts for sports like football, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and basketball. We also have an indoor stadium.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They provide us with study materials in the WhatsApp group. They also provide homework to enhance our knowledge. They always clarify our doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industry. We have up-to-date technologies, tools, and methodologies in this course. Our college provides soft skills such as communication, teamwork, etc. Semester exams are easy to pass if we study from books.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Sports are conducted in our college.

It is a good college with all of the amenities that a college should have.
Placements: Our college has no placements. Top recruiting companies do not visit our campus. Internships are not available.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good infrastructure and facilities. Our labs are excellent. Almost all of the equipment needed for our course is on hand. Classrooms are good and clean. Many books are available in the library. The library environment is peaceful. Wi-Fi speed is average. Not everyone can get access to the password. The canteen serves the regular menu, like roti, sabji, chow mein, etc. The quality of the food is not good. Medical facilities are not good. Sports and games are average. We have an indoor stadium with three badminton courts and two table tennis courts. Students can get coached if they want by paying some extra fees. A football ground, a basketball court, and a volleyball court are available. Everything is good.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is good. Our teachers provide study materials. They clear students' doubts. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 30%.

UG Degree (3 year) : In year 2018-19, for 3 year UG Degree, a total of 1338 students were admitted at Darrang College and 723 completed their graduation in 2020-21. Out of 723 students 186 were placed with median salary of INR 300000 and 323 students opted for higher studies. A total of 1243 students were admitted in year 2019-20 for 3 year UG degree at Darrang Collegeand 697 completed their graduation in 2021-22. Out of 697 students 110 were placed with median salary of INR 300000 and 370 students opted for higher studies.
PG Degree (2 year) : In year 2019-20, for 2 year PG Degree, a total of 65 students were admitted at Darrang College and 61 completed their graduation in 2020-21.
