Top choice for civil engineering at Mumbai University.

Placements: Over the past few years, the placement rate for civil engineering in DMCE has been around 53 to 60% which is decent, considering the competition in core engineering placements. Highest salary package offered in our department is up to 10 LPA. Lowest salary package goes to 2.5 LPA. Roughly 72 to 80% of the students secure internships. Roles offered in my course are mostly site engineer, quantity surveyor, project engineer, structural engineer, and civil designer.

Not the best, but a college is a college!

Placements: As in percentage, as much as I know, a very low percentage of students are placed. On average, placements go to 3LPA while the highest go to 10LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Mindspace, Accenture, etc. Internship schemes are really here, in most cases, they'll ask for money for it!

Best choice for 90-95% CET score students.

Placements: I am giving details of the current passing out batch, so almost 85-90% of students get placed in good companies. Roles depended on their skill sets. Top recruiting companies are Capgemini, Accenture, TCS, Mahindra, etc. The average package offered to students is around 5 LPA - 6 LPA. While the highest package offered in our college is 10 LPA (not this placement season). The lowest package offered is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA, so in our college companies usually don't offer internships and students ha...

Good college for average placements.

Placements: 50% of students got placed last year. The highest package is 7 LPA, the lowest is 3.25 LPA, and the average is 4.25 LPA. Roles offered were mostly as software developers at companies like Softlink Digital and Capgemini. These are the top recruiting companies. The college does not provide internships. You have to pursue them on your own.

Hi Mandeep,

Administration to B.Tech and b.pharna  courses at Datta Meghe College of Engineering is based on the Maharashtra Common Entrance test. So it is not possible to get enrolled in the course without giving entrance.

But you can try next year.

Best of luck.
