A glimpse into D.A.V College for Girls.
Placements: About 85% of students in my course get placed. There are some top recruiting companies like Mahindra and TCS recruit for B.Com. The package offered by these companies depends on different levels of job roles. The highest package can range between 5-6 LPA, whereas, the minimum package is around 30-50K. 55% of students get placed under placement drive. The top roles are Executive Director, Management, Accountant, and Sales Executive.
Infrastructure: College provides good infrastructure and a clean environment surrounded by trees, flowers, etc. It provides Wi-Fi facilities, top-notch classrooms, and a maintained library. We can visit the library and get any book anytime and we can sit and read in the library. Labs are well-maintained, have a new kind of technological equipment, and a good faculty member. College also offers hostel facilities for students and provides good quality food, which is made carefully in a hygienic environment.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable, as they are experienced and teaching at the college for 7–8 years. Their teaching style is unique and involves each student in learning the topic without getting bored. This course is very relevant as it makes students industry-ready by providing vast knowledge in the field of commerce. The things we study in this course are applied in real-world like economics that are relevant to any country's growth. The exam level depends on different subjects. The passing percentage is not so bad like 85% of students pass the exams.
Other: I chose this course because I want to gain a vast knowledge of different subject areas, like financial accounts. We get more information about how the company and economy work in the real world. The one thing that I wish I would improve about my course is practical training and making students educated in various Excel and Microsoft areas. It would be beneficial if the students were trained in communication skills. My college organizes a youth festival every October, and various kinds of programs are also held. It also provides an opportunity for students to join NCC camps.

It is the best college for girls.
Placements: Almost 75% of students got placed in our college in top companies located in Delhi, Chandigarh, etc. The salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Coronis in Mohali, Genpact in Delhi, etc. Top roles offered are frontend data operator, backend data operator, and data entry operator.
Infrastructure: Our labs are air-conditioned. Our library has all course-related books for study. All classrooms are clean, and we can sit anywhere. There are strict rules for hostel girls. The food served in the canteen is very tasty.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their teaching quality is very good. They always solve our problems. Our course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry ready. Semester exams are moderate. The pass percentage is 95%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about the course is that all subjects are case oriented. We can learn many things through this course. This course enhances our ability to learn things easily. Our college should conduct more practical classes. Our college conducts many competitions from time to time and provides rewards to winners.

Placements: I suggest others to make use of the ample opportunities and utilise your creativity and hidden talents. This college plays an important role in giving us good positions and good vibes, which are very important to make decisions for a goal-oriented life.
Infrastructure: This college provides good entertainment to students, and the members of the hostel are very cooperative. The hostel provides good kind of food facility, mess facility, medical and sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers play a very important role to guide students. This college makes students better in their life. Faculty members are very cooperative, and they guide us like our parents. They conduct some classes other than studies to improve personality and positive attitude.
Other: I have chosen this course because B.Com is a theory and practical-based subject with different kinds of economic structure and human economic life studies. Different kinds of PDPs, i.e., personality development programs, are established to make students better.

It is a good college because the activities organised by the college and the faculty is cooperative.
Placements: I got selected in a campus interview, but companies visited for the interview were not up to my field, which I have chosen almost all the students in our class went for the interview. The salaries offered were not much as the highest salary offered was only Rs. 18,000 per month.
Infrastructure: There is no infrastructure problem as a computer lab, and the library is fully air-conditioned, but classrooms were not up to the mark and hostel is fine as I have been there for 3 years I haven't faced any issue over there. Quality of food served is also good in college and in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty is cooperative, but there were few teachers those were not as good as they need to be. Most of them usually use to teach on the board, and only a few of them use projectors and other things. The class consist of 98 students, and there was only 1 faculty. We didn't get any exposure to an industry or a company.
Other: They provide a lot of extracurricular activities where the student gets to explore itself.

My experience in the college is good.
Placements: Placements in our college were good compared to other colleges in the city except MLN college. Companies like IBM (Concentrix), Genpact, Delloite and her reputed MNCs do visit the campus for placement drives and hire the students in bulk. The package offered is around 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA. These details are of the commerce department only.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very good. Labs, classrooms, library, medical facilities, sports and games, etc., are available on the campus. The college does not occupy 100 acres, but it has every facility that a good college has. The campus also has a boutique and salon where you can learn and practice skills. Archery and fencing kind of games are conducted for students to learn professionally. The campus has a huge and well-maintained swimming pool which can be availed at a reasonable fee.
Faculty: Faculty members are good except some dominating and old-mentality teachers. If they see students using mobile phones on the campus, they will read all the chats on the phone and make fun of it. But, using phones on the campus is not prohibited. Quality of education provided is good, the theoretical part is more focused.
Other: DAV is famous for being involved in cultural and sports activities. For some state and national level competitions, DAV hires the best talent from the state to teach dance and theatre things to students. There is a lot to learn in DAV and shape your future if you know how to get out of your comfort zone.

DAV helped me in enhancing my skills, and I gained a lot from the college.
Placements: Placements in our college were good. Approximately, 50% of the students were placed. The salary package offered was good. The security offered was also good. Companies like Genpact, Zomato, Wipro, IBM, etc., visited our college to conduct placement drives. A placement cell is available in our college which was really helpful and useful for us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was excellent. The college provided good Wi-Fi facilities. The college also has computer labs. Medical facilities provided were really good. The library has magazines, journals, etc., that provide good knowledge to students. Sports and games facilities provided were good enough. Various expert lectures were regularly conducted in our college to provide some extra knowledge to the students. They show some movies related to moral value to the students. The auditorium was very well-managed to conduct events.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were very cooperative and knowledgeable. They support us every time. Not only theoretical knowledge was provided, but they also helped us in gaining practical knowledge. Teachers were good, and they treated us like their children.
Other: Various competitions were organised by different departments, every week. Scholarships were provided to the needy.
