Helpful faculty & flexible rules, but an outdated syllabus, weak placements & dull campus life.
Placements: It is one of the weaknesses of this college. In the name of placement, they provide nothing. No placement cell or any placement activity. Most students have to find opportunities by themself only, and half of the students opt for higher studies. Few companies that you can count on one hand in the name of placement, they hire students at 2 LPA-3 LPA offers in cities like Lucknow. Don't ever join this college for the sake of placement.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility provided by the college itself. Most of the students are from local areas only, and some who are not live in PG ( mostly 7K- 8K per month) and others in? Shared flat (5-6 students per flat), and a few live in a government hostel, but it is merit-based and only the toppers of the batch or school can live there. There is no canteen in the college itself, but there are many cafes in the nearby areas.
Faculty: The only good thing about this college is the faculty. They are very helpful and, if you ask your doubts politely, they explain everything without getting frustrated. Most of them are knowledgeable, with some being PhD holders and well qualified, though a few new staff members are not as experienced. Semester exams are mostly easy to pass, with many students studying just one night before the exam. However, scoring above a 9 CGPA is quite difficult.
Other: The reason I chose this college was simply because it is the best college in my area, and fees are also affordable because you get scholarships from the government. One drawback is the assignments. They are mostly practical and purely theory-based, so most students end up copying from each other. I would definitely want to see improvement in this area. There is also no real campus life here, which is a huge setback for some students.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2024

A good college for graduation.
Placements: There were 200 students in my subject. The maximum package is about 50,000 rupees. Many NGOs recruit students for social work. Mostly the students got internships for social work, which comes under NGO's. Companies offer many roles for the recruited students, such as managing director.
Infrastructure: I love the infrastructure of the college. Practical Labs, smart classrooms and library are first class. The hostel provides food and a bed, fan, medical room, sports section, etc. for the comfort of students. The college organizes sports events every year. The physical department contains all the game equipment.
Faculty: Teachers were very humble and supportive, well qualified and knowledgeable, and they taught very well. Most of the students chose arts faculty, which gave them the them the qualification of graduation. The difficulty level of the semester exams is easy to moderate. 100% passing percentage of students.

A concise review of DBPG college.
Placements: This institution is very poor in placements and job opportunities. This offers mainly primary courses on which you will have to earn higher degrees to have a job placement. However, the college provides internship programme on the third or fourth year of some courses.
Infrastructure: Very poor infrastructure. The buildings are very old. They don't have proper washrooms or washbasins. They are poorly constructed. They don't have water coolers easily available. They have benches and chair that are old and rusty. They don't have cemented floors in the classrooms.
Faculty: Faculty is easy to talk with. But they don't teach that way. Its hard to understand for students. Each faculty has very different method of teaching. And they are focused mainly on memorizing stuff not learning new things. This makes it difficult for us for future.
Other: I joined this college, because they have flexible attendance Timings and affordable feels. As I'm also preparing for NEET this helped a lot.

Our college is good in terms of education.
Placements: Almost 85% of students got placed in our course. The salary package offered was 9 LPA. Students were eligible to become a teacher of TGT, PGT, or LT grade teachers or B.Ed students who become BEO and BSA by writing exams. Many students got internships. The top role offered was a teacher.
Infrastructure: Our department had a library with seating rooms. Classrooms were huge and had many facilities. The hostel was very good and was free for financially weak students. There was no canteen in our college. Many different labs were available in our college for every department.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was very good. Semester exams were not very difficult. The pass percentage was 33%. The course curriculum was relevant and made students good teachers.
Other: I opted for this course because I want to become a teacher.
