Review of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (University of Delhi).
Placements: The percentage of students placed is not really good, but from courses like CS Hons, B.Com, and BMS, there have been pretty good placements. The highest CTC was 24 LPA. All the courses provide in-depth knowledge about the subjects, and we have mid-semester exams as well as final semester exams.
Infrastructure: There are a total 3 buildings present in the college. First is the main block, i.e., the academic block; second is the utility block and last is the hostel for both boys and girls separately. Overall, the infrastructure is really good. Compared to other DU colleges, we have one of the best infrastructures.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good. All the faculty are well-educated. Teachers are good, and concepts are taught in class. Students can study really well. Everything is good.
Other: I am from CS Hons, and till now I have learnt many languages like Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, and C+.

Satisfied with the faculty, offers good placements, and has the best infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 70 to 80% of students got placed from my department. The average package is around 5 to 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google and Microsoft. Around 60% of students from here get internships in EduRev. Top roles offered are software engineers.
Infrastructure: AC works so well that we can study peacefully. In labs, all computers and projectors work well. Smart TV facility is also provided. Washrooms are very clean and have proper ventilation. Canteen and mess offer clean and tasty food. We have proper medical facilities. All the equipment is in good condition in the sports room.
Faculty: Teachers are very frank and polite, and every topic becomes easy for me to understand. The course is very nice. The curriculum is relevant, and it makes students ready at the industry level. Exams are difficult, but studying as we are studying at this college, they become easy and make students score 9+ CGPA. 98% is the pass percentage.

Good college, but bad timing.
Placements: The placement drive was not that successful in my course because most companies were interested in the students from the B.Sc. Honors courses. Still, a few students got internships at Tata. Moreover, being an off-campus college, the scope for placement was not that much in the final years.
Infrastructure: The Infrastructure was quite good with ACs, projectors, and all. The library and computer rooms were well-equipped and sufficient for students. There was a ground and a badminton court. The hostels were inside the premises, which looked quite good. The canteen was quite big and have variety of foods. The corridors were clean and maintained.
Faculty: Most teachers did their job properly, except for a few in the Maths department. My course was not that effective for further career opportunities, which is why there was no scope for excellence. The exams were held with utmost strictness.
Other: It was the corona period, so getting this course itself was difficult. Half of my course was completed in online mode only. If only the timing were different, I could have gotten a better course. The college was an off-campus college, so there was not much to explore. The events and fests were average during my time.

DDUC is famous for its infrastructure, but it's really a reality check.
Placements: In my 2024 batch, approximately 150 students were there. Not very famous companies joined for placements. Most of the seniors joined MBA. The highest average package was 3 LPA. The lowest was a Rs. 4,500 stipend for a 10 month internship. Only 30% of students got internships, mostly under new start-ups. Most students tend not to have internships, and those who have them get them through personal connections.
Infrastructure: Everything is available, but maintenance is not done on time. For example, floor tiles are uneven. Students may trip and fall. Wi-Fi is not working at all. Library faculty members can be kind of rude. They have a 3-floor library and 1 ITC. This year, the canteen tender is not yet here. Amul and Nescafé work well. Canteen food is not good or safe.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Guest faculty members are just very average and are more or less alumni. The course makes students industry-ready. The passing criteria are 40%, as usual, and the attendance criteria are 67%. You can always rely on the permanent faculty, but the guest faculty is not at all reliable.
Other: Events are 10/10. The campus crowd is average. Connectivity is 6/10. The campus surroundings are good, with greenery. Scholarships are limited compared to others. Extracurricular activities are good and have a variety to choose from. I chose this course because I was a commerce student and did not have much to explore. One thing that can improve my course is better guest faculty, because some of them are very rude.

DDUC is underrated. Top-notch infrastructure, decent placements, and lively campus life.
Placements: 75–80% of students who applied for placements from B.Sc. CS got placed. The rest opted for higher studies like MCA, M.Sc., and MBA, or preparation for GATE/CAT. The average package is 4–6 LPA. Top recruiters are Deloitte, DeShaw, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, & IBM.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are spacious. They are fully AC. They have projectors and whiteboards. High speed Wi-Fi is available. There are multiple lifts in the building. We have well-equipped labs. There is a 3-floor library. There is also a language lab and seminar halls. The college has a well maintained auditorium. There are common rooms for boys and girls.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Most of them have 10+ years of experience. Teaching quality is excellent. They use projectors, presentations, and practical examples to make concepts easy to understand. The course curriculum is based on NEP and is very relevant.

Great if you wanna focus on your academics.
Placements: No students were placed from my course. No package offered. 0 percent of students from my course got an internship or placement. No roles or jobs were offered in my course. My course was not an industry or a professional course, so we didn't get any job offer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are great. There is free Wi-Fi and AC available all over the college campus. The food was also of decent quality in the canteen. Sports facilities were also somewhat decent. There was a badminton court, which was pretty good.
Faculty: Teaching quality was good. Their curriculum is somewhat relevant, but I don't think it makes you industry-ready. Exams are difficult average, I would say, so the pass percentage is the same as other colleges. It would be around 33% percent or 27 marks.
