Honest review for Dindayal Upadhyay College.

Placements: The exact number of students placed is not known to me, as it's my first year in college, but from what my seniors told me, this course of English honours specifically has a high chance of getting its students placed, and nice companies prefer English honors students highly from the college.

Infrastructure: The college has great air-conditioned classrooms and projectors to make the class interactive, though it might lack in playgrounds for football and other games. Still, there is a high participation of students in sports activities from this college, and sports are encouraged.

Faculty: The college has great faculty, which is very supportive of the students, and I think that there might be a few changes that can be made by the University. The curriculum, what we are taught, is very much relevant to what we are taught, and students are made industry-ready, but sometimes lack interest.

Infrastructure is amazing but that's basically it.

Placements: Several students who do not want this course ended up in it because of NEP. Most of the alumni of my course have come back as assistant professors to teach in the same department. Several of my seniors have gone to UK to pursue their master's. The professors have a really good income though.

Infrastructure: We have ACs in our classrooms, library, labs, and canteen (these ones are not always working). We also have lifts and a language lab for our English department with the latest windows update and tech. Hostel also has ACs and lifts. The food in the mess is fine. Canteen food is affordable and delicious though sometimes hygiene is a concern. We have a decent size ground but it's not big enough for all the sports. We also have a newly opened medical room. Girls and boys common rooms have ACs, beds, changing rooms, study tables, mirrors, and pad dispensers.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. But sometimes it's almost like they don't want to teach. The course curriculum is relevant, and I found similarities between the things we are taught and what is taught in several courses in the UK. Semester exams are doable and passing rates are high.

Other: I wanted this course because I love reading novels, learning new things, and analysing a lot. The best thing about my course is the friends I have made and the new things I learn every day. I would appreciate it if we had less subjects to study (only focused on English literature). Events and fests happen often and scholarships are provided to toppers every year.

College is very nice and clean.

Placements: So basically, we need a minimum of 60+ percentage to get placed in a good company through the college. Companies come, take our interviews, and offer us good packages, including internships. In our course, many roles are offered, such as staff members in private companies, etc.

Infrastructure: All facilities are good—labs, library, and Wi-Fi are very good, and the canteen food is also good. The ground and medical management are good enough. Yes, our college organizes sports tournaments for many games like cricket, basketball, etc. I like to play cricket with my friends.

Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful with us. Their nature is very humble. Semester exams are easy for those students who studied properly. Teachers explain every topic properly and politely. They help us in our studies. The passing percentage is 45 percent in our college.

Other: Yes, the events are very nice. The crowd is sometimes too much, but that's okay.

Really good infrastructure and you can excel here.

Placements: In my course , we didn't have any placements. Actually, the thing is we don't have professional degrees like BTech and all, so none of us went for placement; we didn't sit. Yes, we get internships at Niti Ayog and the vice chancellor's scheme; other courses have placements, like in BCom and BMS.

Infrastructure: My college has the best infrastructure in the University of Delhi; centralized AC in classrooms, libraries, and labs is our biggest strength. We have numerous lifts in our college and a well-maintained auditorium. We also have a sports complex, where we mainly play table tennis and badminton. Canteen is pretty average.

Faculty: We have a very good set of faculty members; although it's very young faculty, the depth of knowledge is just unmatched. The problem is we only have 2 senior professors and the rest just lectures so in between semesters, our junior professors leave the college for a better place, so permanent faculty is an issue.

Other: You will be busy with everything if you participate regularly in fests and mainly society workshops.

It is the best college in Delhi for bachelor's and master's degrees.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide any placements and salary packages because there are no recruiting companies. Internships are not provided in this course.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is world-class. Its building is very good with 7 floors and 10 elevators with proper facilities. Our college has a library on the third floor with 50,000 books.

Faculty: The quality of teaching is very good because of their qualification and experience. Teachers in our college are well qualified.

Placements: In our college, more than 70% of students can be admitted. The lowest salary offered was Rs.4000 per month and the highest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. Many MNCs came here to recruit students with more than 70% and many technical companies visited our campus to recruit. With your course, you can achieve your dream.

Infrastructure: The college had Wi-Fi facilities and many more. The campus had a canteen and a medical facility. Many sports events were going on every month and there were many games.

Faculty: The teaching staff members were extremely polite and cooperative. The courses they provided were very good and if you choose the course according to your choice, you can be a master of it. Exams and tests were good and the level was according to students' capabilities. All courses and classes had the best teachers. There were so many practicals every week.

One of the best for English honors.

Placements: English honors students do not get many college placement opportunities. Commerce students do. English students can get starting jobs as content writers, and editors if they apply externally. Sometimes companies do hire English students as well such as TOI, or some start-ups.

Infrastructure: The whole college is centrally air-conditioned. Lifts are there for easy movement and the campus is very hygienic. Wi-Fi works sometimes and sometimes not. The library is one of the best in infra but the management is very poor. Hostels are also world-class but very orthodox and regressive. The wardens are very illogical. The food at the hostel is really good but the canteen is not so good.

Faculty: The faculty is very good for English honors and some other courses. Faculty in-dept are some of the best teachers I have MET in my life. They are an inspiration also. The teaching is world-class, even during the pandemic We never were made to feel like our education was being compromised.

I am satisfied with this college but it should have more sports infrastructure.

Placements: In this college, placements are good. Around 40% of students are placed in the previous year. Though companies come in huge numbers, but very few of them offers package above 10 LPA. For internships, there is no dedicated cell or effort by the college but students get on their own.

Infrastructure: In this college, rooms have air conditioners, fully lighted, smart boards enabled, and there is Wi-Fi. But its speed is very slow. Hostels have good infrastructure. This college has all facilities. Food is also good. But the canteen offers only a few dishes every day which makes the experience boring.

Faculty: Teachers are experienced, helpful, knowledgeable, and passionate. I never regret it with the great infrastructure they teach well. The curriculum is prescribed by UGC and it does not make students industry-ready. Exams are not that much difficult. They are easy to pass with effort.
