Placements: Placement rate was about 38% in 2023 (58 of 148 enrolled students placed) with average package of 7 LPA, and the highest up to 21.5 LPA. Top sectors included management and consulting (46%), marketing and sales (31%), and analytics (23%). Other sources estimate placement rates in commerce/BMS at 60-70% with average package of 6 LPA to 7 LPA, science placements were lower and often oriented towards higher studies or competitive exams.

Infrastructure: Our college is modern. It has multi-storey air-conditioned campus with AC classrooms, labs, auditorium, sports courts, and smart classrooms. Library spans 3 floors (approximately 2,550), housing around 50,000 documents, AC with study cubicles and tables, and internet is equipped.

Faculty: They offer a wide range of UG courses, B.A. (Hons), B.Com (Hons) B.Sc. (Honors across disciplines), BMS, and B.A. (program), also foreign language certificates (French, German, Spanish, Russian). Faculty members are noted to be supportive and highly qualified, especially in science and commerce streams, though academic rigour often requires self-study too.

Other: Hostel facilities include single rooms, mess, and dining halls within the campus. However, the grounds are relatively small for outdoor sports. There are active societies like TEDx, 180 consulting, Polaroid (photography), voices (debate), fins (finance), music, dance, enriching the culture and student life with Kalrav as the annual fest.

Good option for B.Sc. in Chemistry Honours.

Placements: Students have the opportunity to volunteer for research and publish research papers under the guidance of faculty members. Good financial incentives are provided for conducting quality research for six months. Various internship programs are also offered during summer vacations and between semesters. Students can interact with experts in specialized fields through seminars and discussions. Certificates are awarded upon successful completion of internships.

Infrastructure: The Chemistry department at Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College (DDUC) is commendable. Classrooms are well-furnished with quality benches and equipped with podiums and smartboards in select rooms. Each classroom has at least two air conditioners, six ceiling lights, and six fans, along with large glass windows for ventilation. There are cameras in every classroom for monitoring. The Chemistry department has three large laboratories, all located on the ground floor, with all necessary apparatus and instruments available for practicals. Fire alarms and cameras are also installed for safety. The college provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls, with rooms shared between two students. Each room is equipped with AC, study tables, proper lighting, and fans. The mess offers both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food options, and the food quality is satisfactory. The college canteen serves a variety of snacks, packaged food, beverages, South Indian food, thalis, and ice creams, with ample seating and good hygiene.

Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified and strictly enforce attendance policies. They are punctual and supportive, conducting regular tests and presentations to evaluate students. Internal marks are allocated based on these assessments. The syllabus is completed on time, allowing sufficient preparation time for exams. College exams are of moderate difficulty, with a pass percentage of 94%.

Other: The college provides a peaceful and friendly environment. Annual sports day and the annual fest are celebrated with great enthusiasm, featuring performances by popular singers.

Our college provides good placements.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placement opportunities for science and arts students. Our college provides placement opportunities for B. Com and marketing graduates. It is a good course if you want to opt for Ph.D. or higher studies.

Infrastructure: Our college has the best infrastructure and hostel. The hostel is private. It is not funded by the government. It is a bit expensive for many students. The hostel facilities are good. The hostel has good surroundings.

Faculty: Our faculty members are good. The course curriculum is well-structured according to their objectives. Their objectives are not getting their students placed. They aim to make the student a good research scholar.

It is an average college.

Placements: Around 20% of students get placed the previous year. Our college placement cell is not good. Around 40-45% of students got internship opportunities and the rest of them were rejected by the placement cell for some reason. It is good to go for higher studies to get placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is one of the best. A library is available in our college but sports complexes are not provided. There is only a badminton court but no place for football, cricket, etc.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good, highly educated, friendly, and helpful but some of them are strict. They try to motivate students in their down phase. Their teaching is commendable.

Other: I chose this course because I'm interested in chemistry. It is not the best college for extracurricular activities as there is a limited number of societies to promote activities which run out of funds.

Our college has one of the best infrastructure in DU.

Placements: The college is newly established in Dwarka and we are the first batch. Most of the students are pursuing PG and then Ph.D. Direct recruitment from the college was low.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing and is one of the best at DU. There are facilities like library, computer center, conference halls, centralised air-conditioning, decent ground, reasonable canteen pricing with good quality food. It is a 5 storied building with centralised air-conditioning system. We have 3 floors of a library with a computer center. There are big rooms, halls, amazing auditorium, very well designed with wall arts, paintings, crafts, and saplings. Wi-Fi is available. We have good labs for science faculty members. They offer double-sharing hostel rooms with a good mess. Reasonable canteen pricing with good quality food is available. Baseball, softball, archery, table tennis, fencing, badminton, football, and cricket are available.

Faculty: Teachers here are very qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders. They are supportive and intellectual for science courses along with arts and commerce. It is a science college with B.Com and B.A. courses. Semester exams include 1 internal during semesters. Semester exams in our college are not that difficult.

Other: Annual cultural fest known as Kalrav is held. We also have a literary society called Kalamkaar. There is a music society named Rhapsody. Bhangra team is called Kings 6. The college is located 1 km from Dwarka sec 14 metro. Vegas mall Dwarka is a good hangout location nearby. Sec12 city centre is available around 2 km. NSUT is 500 meters away. Dwarka Mor metro is 1.8km.

Absolutely satisfied because of its awesome faculty, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Chemistry honors is not a course that offers placements, so there aren't many placements in my course other than 1 or 2, but the highest package offered by one of the big4 companies was 12 LPA. The placements are average in B.Com and B.MS. The highest package goes up to 12 LPA, and the average package is 7 LPA.

Infrastructure: This part of the college is phenomenal. All the infrastructure, be it the hostel or college, is outstanding as it has been shifted to a new building. The campus has centralised AC. No other DU college has a better infrastructure than DDUC. The library is outstanding, and nearly all the books are available. Wi-Fi is free, and classes are excellent.

Faculty: The faculty members for B.Sc. honors Chemistry are amazing. All the teachers are permanent and have a PhD. They have good knowledge. The course curriculum is according to DU, and students are also taken on an industrial trip once a semester, which is good. The pass percentage is above 95%, with the exams being moderate to tough.

Other: The college annual fest is average, but the surroundings are very good. Connectivity is good as the metro station is 1 km away. The college offers scholarships to the top 3 students of every course every year, which is of 10,000.

I am dissatisfied because of curricular activities.

Placements: There are placements here, but not as many as students expect from a college because, in my 2 years of experience in college, I didn't see any student from our course get a placement. I have some friends from other courses, but they also said the same thing about placements. Internships are also in the same condition, and very few internships are offered by our college, which is not enough for every student. Sometimes teachers ask some students if they could stay in their holidays at college and work with them as interns.

Infrastructure: I think our college has one of the best infrastructures among all colleges of Delhi University because its building looks like a five-star hotel with Wi-Fi in every part of the college. But you need to have a password to access it. Labs are very beautiful and have every possible instrument required for experiments. Classrooms are completely air-conditioned with beautiful tables and seats. Our college has nearly 3 to 4 libraries with every possible book related to the course or anything. I am not a hosteller, but my friends told me that everything in their hostel was brilliant, whether it be food or anything else.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very good because they are highly intellectual and highly qualified. They help students in every possible way, and their teaching is very efficient and easy to understand. I think that the course curriculum doesn't make students industry-ready. Even there is no such curriculum which makes students industry-ready. Exams of our semester are not very difficult, and if students make a little bit of effort, they can pass them easily.

Other: I chose this course because I want to choose chemistry as an optional subject for my UPSC preparations. The best thing about our course is practicals because teachers teach practicals very precisely, and they are very fun to do. The thing to improve in my course is that professors should focus more on practicals than on theory. A lot of events are organised like a fest of every course in every semester and a fest of college in which a lot of crowds participate. Many cricket, football and badminton competitions are also being conducted. I am in the 3rd year, and every year I fill a form for scholarships, but I didn't get it until now. So scholarships are in poor condition.

Placements: Usually, students from B.Com and BMS courses get placed from our college with an average salary package. Students from other courses often opt for higher studies or prepare for competitive exams of other services. Our college gives good exposure to both cases. There are numerous opportunities to do some internships and enhance your knowledge and other skills.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is surely the best among all colleges in DU. Every room is equipped with the best seating facility, and the air-conditioning facility is an extra advantage. You will get a three-storeyed library, well-equipped laboratories, 6 elevators, a water cooler on every floor and many more facilities. The nearest metro station is Dwarka Mor, and students can easily get an E-rickshaw to reach the hostel. There is a canteen, Amul parlour and an amazing stationery shop. The overall experience inside our college is quite luxurious. The biggest advantage of our college is its hostel, and it is the best you could expect. There is a total of 45 rooms in every hostel for boys and girls. The rooms have double occupancy. You will get 4 meals per day with a variety of dishes every day. There are 2 washing machines, induction stove, microwave oven and sports equipment, including TT also. The hostel organises many activities around the year, and every festival is celebrated with great zeal. Outstation students can join this college without thinking twice.

Faculty: The faculty members of our college are really helpful. The professors of the chemistry department are one of the best. They are cooperative and excel in their field. Teachers are easily approachable. There will be regular mentor-mentee meetings for students to discuss any issue or share any problem with them. Academically, the teachers put a lot of effort into sharing effective knowledge with students. Moreover, they are ready to solve any doubt of the students. Even during the pandemic time, the teachers made all their efforts to provide us with all the study materials and interactively held the classes. The course and its curriculum are quite relevant. There is a focus on topics of industrial as well as environmental importance, leading to a multi-dimensional development of students.

Other: Our college has many active societies in which students could join according to their interests. Our college has been doing really well in all the intra and inter-college competitions. The fest is not held at the level of other DU colleges. However, you will always have the chance to visit other colleges, so it is not a big issue. The only drawback of the college is its small ground. Though there is a good space to sit and chatter with your friends, it somewhat makes it difficult to play outdoor sports. Our college has been increasing its rank since the last few years in the NIRF ranking, and its future is promising.
