Good in terms of teaching and faculty. Crowd is average, otherwise a good college.
Placements: Placements are pretty average. Chances of getting internships are high because of the placement cell. Placement cell actively works on different internships and share those with us.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure with respect to classes is good, but grounds are average. The quality of food in the canteen is just above average. Sports and games facilities are also average. Labs, classrooms, and the library are excellent with working computers. Wi-Fi facility is also there. A ground is average because of less area. Other than that, it's average.
Faculty: The faculty is pretty good, according to me. Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is relevant. It does make students industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams is above average. It is good in terms of teaching.

Decent enough college if you know what you are doing.
Placements: Placements aren't really great; they are pretty much nonexistent. Since the CS batch is only of 60 students, and most of them are looking to go for higher studies, not many students are looking for placements, so not many companies are willing to visit. All in all, you would need to go for higher studies if you are looking for placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is one of the best in DU. There is centralized AC, a decent library, an elevator, and good classrooms, except it is falling apart. Fans, lift tiles, are broken and take a long time to get repaired. A playground for sports is nonexistent. The hostel seems decent, with double sharing, but there are very few seats, but if you are from outside the state, you should be able to get it easily. The nearby living options are pretty decent as well.
Faculty: The academics are pretty meh; I can't really think of many good teachers except for one. The course curriculum is average; most of it coincides with a regular CSE B.Tech course, and the resources used are the same and plentiful. Exams are also average; if you are a regular student, you shouldn't have a tough time getting a 9.
Other: Pros: Value for money, only if you are going to go for a Master's degree; location; easy enough course; good infrastructure. Cons: Mandatory attendance; only one faculty member who was really dedicated; failing infrastructure; expensive compared to other DU colleges; no placements.

Review of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College.
Placements: This college is situated in Dwarka, making it an off-campus college. Hence, not many companies visit this college for placement. Students have to visit north campus colleges for interviews to secure jobs and get any placement. Hence, this college is not a good choice if you are looking for an on-campus job placement.
Infrastructure: One of the positives of this college is it's infrastructure. I got one of the best infrastructures at Delhi University. The building is good and clean. For my course, we got 3 labs, well-cleaned classes and smartboards. All rooms have AC. Hostels also have good rooms and all the basic necessities are available in hostels.
Faculty: The faculty of Deen Dayal College is really good. Teachers are well-qualified and well-mannered. All staff are also good at their work. The curriculum for the course is well designed, with theory and practical classes for proper understanding of concepts. Not many exams are conducted so no extra pressure is put on students.

Our college doesn't provide many internship opportunities, but the department provides many industry-related workshops and seminars, which help in getting internships outside of campus.

Navigating Transition: a brief review about my college experience.
Placements: Overall placement percentage from Deen Dayal Upadhyaya has remained stagnant over the past 1-2 years. Though the quality the placements students got has improved a little bit over the last 1 year. Some of the companies which recruited students are TresVista, EY GDS, optum, Genpat, DE Shaw, etc. Most of the other students have opted for getting a higher degree like MCA or M.Sc. Computer Science.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya is better than most of other Delhi University colleges. It has bigger classrooms, with projectors and a comfortable seating arrangement. There are atleast 2-3 large lab rooms for each of the Science courses. As for Computer Science, we have 3 labs and a seperate ICT center with a total of 350 PCs available for students. There is free Wi-Fi available for all students. And separately for staff and teachers as well. There are 2 hostels for boys and girls separately, rooms are great, better than most PG and flat arrangements. There's a canteen as well. And a sports ground, with specialized training for Football, cricket, basketball, archery, fencing, etc. There's also an indoor court for badminton and table tennis.
Faculty: The faculty is mostly good. Helpful to the students, clear the doubts, there are internal assessment tests, a semester and semester end exam which is centralized for the courses for all Delhi University colleges. The curriculum was good earlier but it has been subsequently enhanced after updation and assimilation of new topics after NEP's corporation.

Satisfactory for infrastructure and average to below average for placements.
Placements: Don't expect good placement in this college unless you are from the commerce department or BMS. For computer science, the placement is also not so good. The average is around INR 3-5 LPA. For commerce and BMS, the highest package was INR 18 LPA; for other departments, placement is almost nil.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The college looks like a private university. The building is very nice, with air-conditioned rooms. It gives the full feel of an aesthetic college. But currently, the condition has deteriorated, but it is still far ahead of other colleges.
Faculty: Education is very good at the college. Teachers are very supportive. You have to work hard for placement and hustle in order to get placed. It's a little difficult to secure marks in science courses as teachers don't give good marks in internals.

Our college has good infrastructure and the commerce department has good faculty.
Placements: Placements are not so good in the computer science department. Companies like Wipro and Accenture visit our college every year. The salary package provided is around 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Placements are good in commerce and BMS departments. Very good companies visit our campus for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. Computer science department has 3 labs. All are equipped with the best systems. The hostel fee is expensive but the hostel has all the facilities that many hostels lack. Double-sharing rooms in hostels, attached washrooms, and mess facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good at commerce and BMS courses. Teachers are average in other courses. Some are a bit biased. It happens in every college. Overall, faculty members are good. The course curriculum is good, and appropriate time is given every semester. The curriculum is not too rigorous and can be easily covered.
Other: Fest is not too popular. It is not held every year. The administration always gives an excuse for not having sufficient funds to conduct any activities. The crowd is good. Connectivity is good. Dwarka Mor is the nearest metro station. Campus surroundings are average. The college stands amidst the residential areas of Dwarka.

Good faculty and crowd, but not so good placements.
Placements: The college does not have good placements (if at all) for B.Sc. (H) Computer Science. Many students from my class have opted for CS honours just to get a bachelor's degree and want to pursue an MBA or some government jobs. So, the number of students who are actually interested in placements is about 40 per year, and any good company won't come just for 40 students in a 3-year degree programme. Out of those students, many want to do a master's, so they don't prepare for placements, though you can sit for off-campus placements. But campus placement is nonexistent here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. The campus is fully Wi-Fi, though not very fast (about 8 Mbps). All the classes, labs, and seminar halls are air-conditioned. All the computers in our labs are in perfect working condition. We have three computer labs: two with Windows and one with Ubuntu. In one of the Windows labs, all PCs have i7 processors, but they have HDDs. The college also has a library, which spans three floors, with all the necessary books, a reading room, OPEC (the book searching system), and charging points for your laptops. There are separate hostels for boys and girls, with 90 students in each. The hostel is also very hygienic and clean; all the rooms are air-conditioned. There are two people in each room. We have a lamp, a cupboard, a bedside table drawer, another hanging cupboard, a bedside table, and a chair. All the amenities of the hostel are also well maintained; if your chair or table has any problems, you can complain about that and it will get replaced (but not instantly, in like a month).
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful. There are all kinds of teachers everywhere, so yes, you will find a few teachers here who are not at all interested in teaching, but you will also find more teachers here who are always willing to help you with your academic needs or any other CS-related problem, even if it is not in your course. Our academic course is very relevant and apt, and unlike B.Tech., we are not taught all subjects in the first year, so we spend some time there. Our syllabus covers all the core subjects like DSA, OS, CSA, DBMS, Java, and other subjects like Internet Technology, Web Development, Android Development, AI, ML, etc. You can find the detailed syllabus on the university website. The subjects make one industry-ready, but yes, you have to prepare for placements separately, as we all know just studying our course syllabus won't get us everywhere. The semester exams are not that difficult if you make notes in class. Even if you start studying 2 weeks before exams, you can get an 8+ GPA; the pass rate is about 85% in our class.
Other: I chose this course because I wasn't getting into any good government engineering colleges. So, I came to know that after doing B.Sc. (H) CS, I can do M.Sc. or MCA for good placements. And DDUC is among the top 3 colleges for B.Sc. CS honours in DU. The societies in our college organise many inter- and intra-college events almost the whole year. So, you always have something to take part in and also meet students from other colleges during the events. Our annual cultural fest, Kalrav, is not as lavish as other colleges' fests, which I think could be improved with a better budget, but that's okay as we get plenty of college fests to go to in other colleges like DU and NSUT.

Good for personality development.
Placements: Although there is a placement cell within the college, Computer Science students are not receiving any placement offers. The other courses are facing similar issues, while the commerce students are the ones who mostly get placed. There are no recruitment drives conducted for Computer Science students on campus, and only a handful have secured off-campus placements. The placement cell has helped around 20% of students find internships, but these opportunities are also far away from specialisation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure provided by Deen Dayal Upadhyaya college is undoubtedly its best feature. The college has a six-floor main building that includes classrooms, lecture halls, and seminar halls, all equipped with working lifts and air conditioning. Additionally, the college boasts an excellent auditorium and a library stocked with lot of books. Each department has well-equipped labs with computers and all necessary equipment. The college Wi-Fi also works well. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya college has separate hostels for boys and girls. The mess and canteen offer above-average quality food, depending on the tenders. While medical facilities are available, they are minimal. Unfortunately, the college's outdoor sports facilities are inadequate due to the small size of the ground. Although there is an indoor area for badminton, table tennis, and a gymnasium, it is not suitable for outdoor sports.
Faculty: I have been instructed by both exceptional and inadequate teachers for various subjects. While the curriculum was previously somewhat irrelevant, it has now been upgraded in accordance with the New Education Policy and aligns well with industry standards. Students now also get a chance to drop out of the degree whenever they want to, I. e. after 1st/2nd/3rd year as well, which makes the curriculum flexible. The senior faculty members, consisting of professors and doctorate holders, are highly experienced educators. However, they are often preoccupied with departmental and university duties, leaving us to learn from Ph.D. candidates who are relatively less experienced. The passing rate is very high, and a few students who fail are permitted to sit for re-examinations in a select few papers.
Other: I chose this course as I want to pursue MBA in the future but before that, wanted to familiarize myself with computer Science, as whatever field you are on, you will mostly be working on computers nowadays, and its going comparatively well for me. The best thing is we have students from all over the country in the college and because of this, apart from studies, we get to learn about other cultures due to various co curricular activities offered by the college. With a good number of highly active societies, the college is a really good place for overall personality development.
