In short, it's worth your fee and time to take admission in Pusa.
Placements: A minimum 7 CGPA is required for students to get placements. The highest package goes to 4.2 LPA. Top companies are L&T and TATA. Roles are site manager and designer. I think 60 to 70% of students get the placement, and our teachers also help us with how to give an interview and pass that.
Infrastructure: In Pusa, a library is available, and it's good. We also play games and have an NCC parade. It's also a nice place to start your sports journey. There is a canteen whose food is, well, not so much good, not bad, it's fine. They provide us with a projector in our class, which helps us to understand more clearly.
Faculty: Our faculty is very good, they help us with every problem, and they take an extra class. Our teachers are very knowledgeable, and they give their full potential to us. They also teach us how to fit into this industry pattern. The semester exam is not too difficult for those who study, but for those who don't, it's hard. Average percentage for passing is 37%.

Best college as per the placement records.
Placements: Almost 80% to 90% of students got placed in top-notch companies. The highest package offered is 5 LPA to 6 LPA, while the lowest is 2 LPA to 3 LPA. Top recruiters are Maruti Suzuki, Aditya Birla, Denso, Yater Power, Kalpatru, etc. Junior engineer is the top role offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure ate average. It is one of the old prestigious colleges in Delhi, but the facilities are good enough. All are well escaped and upscale cleared. Hostels are not available in Pusa. The canteen is available. Good quality, just okay. All services are okay.
Faculty: The teachers are well-educated and qualified. They are all supportive, helpful, and also all of them are knowledgeable. The course curriculum designed by the university is also so relevant to the industry. The semester exams are moderate, not so hard and not so easy.
Other: I chose this course in 2022. The best is the placement record. Practice knowledge is the point where I think United has to focus for improvement.

Faculty members are highly qualified but not supportive.
Placements: Around 75% of students got placed in good companies. The highest package is around 6.5 LPA, and the lowest salary is around 2 LPA. The average salary is around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BSES, Samsung, Avvada, Hitachi, Tata Power DDL, Voltas Beko, Ashok Leyland, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are dope. It has new PCs and fast internet. Wi-Fi is decent but it can lag sometimes. Classrooms are okay, they have AC, but the benches feel old. Library is awesome with tons of books and e-journals, just shuts by 9:00 PM. Hostel life rooms are fine, 2-3 per rooms, but cupboards are tiny. Mess food is average. Biryani is good once a week, rest is dal price. Canteen is better, Maggi and samosas are there. It has basic medical clinic, and good for minor stuff. Cricket and football grounds are solid. Gym is okay but could use more gear. Overall, cool college, just wish Wi-Fi and mess were better.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified but not supportive. Semester exams are not difficult, but we have to study hard to pass the exams. Curriculum is very relevant, you will study the best curriculum at this college. Teaching quality is not up to the mark. Teachers are not supportive at all. They are like, if you want to study then study or else leave the class quietly, we will give the attendance.
Other: I chose electrical because I love electricity and making projects. My dream job is to be an electrical engineer.

Good practical learning and affordable fees, but needs more industry exposure.
Placements: Placement percentage I think around 60 to 70% of students secure placements, while others opt for future studies like B.Tech or government job preparation. The highest package is 6 LPA - 9 LPA (offered by top construction firms and infrastructure companies). The lowest package is 2 LPA - 3 LPA (small firms or entry-level site roles). The average salary is 3.5 LPA - 4.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are L&T, DLF, Tata Projects, Shapoorji Pallonji, Afcons Infrastructure, CPWD (for apprenticeships), and DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation). Around 70 to 80% of students get internships, mostly at PWD, DMRC, NBBC, and private construction firms and consultancies.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi and hostel facility. Canteen food is average. The campus has a basic medical room with first aid and a visiting doctor. Indoor games like chess, carrom, and table tennis are available and the ground is way too small. Overall rating a solid 2 stars.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced and knowledgeable in their respective fields, especially in structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and construction management. The curriculum is well-structured and covers core civil engineering subjects like construction technology, geotechnical engineering, transportation engineering, etc. Semester exams are moderately difficult, with a mixture of theoretical and numerical questions. Pass percentage is around 80%-90%, and most students clear their exams without backlogs. Practical exams are straightforward, focusing on lab work and viva questions.
Other: I chose this course because civil engineering is a core branch with diverse career opportunities in construction, infrastructure, and project management. Best things about the course are strong practical exposure, affordable fees, and skill-oriented learning. Things that need to improve are more software training, better Wi-Fi and digital facilities, and more industry collaborations.

My experience in DSEU, Pusa.
Placements: Placements in this college are awesome and very good behavior of faculty about placements and gives proper instructions about placements. The percentage of placement students is good and atleast all students get placed in good and well companies.
Infrastructure: As I am pursuing this college, I can say this college offers many courses that make one future bright with proper guidance. There is no hostel, washrooms, and restrooms are well-cleaned. Classes are clean and they are daily by cleaning staff.
Faculty: All faculty are well qualified and their teaching sense is awesome. Students to ready for industrial work. Semester exams are not very difficult if we study. Teachers focused on practical in lab and they equally balanced between practical and theoretical study.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest. In electrical is more and there are only sitting students and well-mentioned campus. They focus on studies and less events and fests.

I was not so much satisfied because of no extra activities. And college life is not adventurous.
Placements: Placement in Pusa campus is high, other than other colleges. The recent passout batch has approximately 60-65% placement done in college. The approximate package is 25k -30k in a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. The best branch in Pusa for placement is Electrical Engineering; other branches have a lower percentage than Electrical.
Infrastructure: Pusa Institute is a very old college, so the infrastructure is average. Labs, classrooms, and libraries are good. No Wi-Fi facility is available. Ground and other sports are not available on the college campus. And the canteen provides low-quality food. In the Pusa campus hostel facility is not available.
Faculty: All faculty are Ph.D.-qualified. Old faculty are not very helpful, but new ones are good. All courses are made to make students industry-ready. Exams are not very tough; students can qualify for them after some days of learning. All courses are practical knowledge and work on the field. So, written exams are easy.
Other: I chose it because of its good placement in electrical engineering. I want to improve college drinking water and toilets facilities. The toilets are not clean. There are no events, festivals, or extracurricular activities in college. If you want fun and enjoyment, this college is not fit for you. Otherwise, for placement, it is good.
