Department of Library and Information Science Scholarships and Funding
Department of Library and Information Science provides its students with the following Scholarships:-
1) EWS Scholarship/ Financial Aid:-
Applicant with annual family income less than Rs 8 lakh are eligible for this Scholarship.
2) Women's Scholarship:-
This is a Merit cum need-based scholarship for girl student with less than 5 lakh annual family income.
3)Sports Scholarship:-
This scholarship is available for National / International players ( Applicant should have represented at least State or Any University in Sub-Junior/Junior/Senior National Championships, All India )
The total MLISc fee at DLIS SVU is INR 1 lakh. It is payable over the course duration of two years. This includes the tuition fees, exam fees and development fees. For NRI candidates, the total fee is INR 1.47 lakh. Students are also eligible to avail themselves of the scholarships provided by SVU Mumbai. The total PG Diploma fee at Department of Library and Information Science is INR 10,000 for Indian candidates. The PG Diploma fee for NRI candidates is INR 18,000.
