I am dissatisfied with teaching faculty members & placements.
Placements: Placements depend on the capabilities of the candidate. College offers very less camps visits. One should try and grab opportunities outside instead of waiting for campus placements. The average salary package offered is about 4 LPA, and most sales jobs are offered to all the candidates.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is very much considerable. The library contains books that are relatable to courses. It also has books like novels and others. They offer good hostel facilities but the food served is a big issue over there. But one can adjust.
Faculty: Teachers are very much qualified but they mostly focus on their projects and they don't consider teaching as their main priority. The course curriculum is very interesting and it's very much relevant to the industry. Exams are of moderate level to clear.
Other: I opted for this course because it is very much unique. As our classes are obsessed with covid so I haven't attended any college functions.

IMS college gives good ROI.
Placements: Around 75 to 80% of the students got placed from college. An average salary package offered was 4 LPA. Due to lockdown, I don't experience the internship, but our seniors got a good internship. Position and roles offered to depend upon personal skills or soft skills.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not much good, but what matters is quality education, and IMS is much better in providing it. Medical facilities were provided. The canteen on the campus was good, tasty and hygienic. The library had a lot of books, and you can sit and study without any disturbance.
Faculty: Some teachers in our college are worthy, and some teachers are good. They are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good in all aspects. Overall, the course curriculum is relevant, and it prepares students for industry. But students need to work on personal skills.

Truly satisfied with the campus facilities, placements in 2019 & good infrastructure.
Placements: Around 80% of students were placed in my course. The lowest salary offered was around 18000 & the highest salary offered By IDBI Bank, IDBI offered the highest package 108000. The top roles offered in my course are tax consultant, relationship officer, deputy manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure abilities in our college is great for Financial administration, the facility include Wi-Fi, labs facility, smart classrooms, library. The quality of facilities in our girls hostel is definitely good including mess food facility, Wi-Fi facility, LAN, medical facilities, pantry, clean room.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified & knowledgeable they provide efficient and effective knowledge to the students through LCD, guide us with well effective solutions. As we all know that MBA is a professional degree so the curriculum includes Group discussion, presentation.
Other: I choose this course so that I can gain knowledge of the financial field. this will help me in the future as financial advisory in the stock market.

Absolutely satisfied because of placement, helpful nature of faculty placement and connectivity.
Placements: The most of the students ware placed. 90% of total students were placed in my course. The package offered was upto 9 LPA and average package was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies was deloitte, Bajaj finserv, ICICI bank axis bank, HDFC Bank. The mostly students gets their internship in axis bank, HDFC Bank, MPFC etc.
Infrastructure: The college was established in 1969 and the infrastructure is decent with spacious classrooms and Auditorium for cultural activities. And also have library where all subjects related books are available. The computer lab also available for students. The hostel of DAVV is autonomous and the facilities was good and students have choice to opt for mess or not.
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and they are either Ph.D. holder or qualified with CA/CS. Our faculty members have great knowledge of their stream. Lectures are regular to the classes, it's mandatory for students to maintains the attendance percentage of 75%.

The review of Institute of Management Studies, Indore.
Placements: I got placed in S&P Global, Ahmedabad. It is an autonomous college of DAVV having a great placement record. The college assures more than 90% placements every year. Our faculty members have great knowledge of their stream. They are either PhD holders or qualified with CA/CS. Lectures are regular to the classes, and it's mandatory for students to maintain an attendance percentage of 75%.
Infrastructure: This college was established in 1969, so it looks a little old. However, it looks very decent enough. The infrastructure of our college is very good as compared to other colleges in DAVV. The infrastructure is well-maintained too. There is a big auditorium with a seating capacity of 300. Facilities like library and huge parking space, etc., are available here. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Each classroom is under CCTV surveillance. All the classrooms are equipped with projectors. DAVV has Madhya Pradesh's only synthetic running track, and we also have a separate playground for different sports like cricket, football, hockey, basketball, handball, batminton, and Kho-Kho etc.
Faculty: Classes are conducted regularly in IMS, so all the faculty members come to the classes regularly. There are 8 subjects, and each faculty member deals a separate subject. Faculty members are well-qualified, and they have completed their masters in their fields. They teach us and guide us very well. It is Madhya Pradesh's second best college after IIM Indore. You'll definitely get more than you expected.
Other: Cultural fests organised here are awesome. This college is accredited with A grade by NAAC.

The college is good. Placements and facilitates were good. ROI is good.
Placements: Placements in our college were average with around 50-60% of the students getting placed. The highest salary package offered was 7-8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 2-3 LPA. Companies related to sectors like IT, Telecom, etc., visited our campus to offer placements. Profiles like the business analyst, tax professionals, knowledge management, etc., were offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not up to the mark. Labs and classrooms were also not clean. The library was good. Wi-Fi facility provided was good. The canteen didn't maintain proper hygiene, and fresh food was not served. Hostel rooms and mess were not good. IT labs could be improved. Also, the building needs some maintenance.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were knowledgeable and very helpful. They taught us well with proper practical examples. Case studies were used for conceptual teaching. Presentations and viva were conducted to boost the morale of students. The course curriculum was really well defined.
Other: Many events were held in the college. Many competitions and fests were also organised.

Overall good college in Madhya Pradesh for pursuing MBA.
Placements: The placements are good as far as college grade is concerned. In short the ROI is very good if someone is pursuing MBA from IMS specially when someone wants to direct his/her career in Corporate Sector. Big companies from different sectors visit college for placements like Deloite, Bajaj finserv, HDFC bank, ICICI Bank, TCS, DXC, Prism Cement, Naukri. Com etc.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is decent with spacious classrooms and Audi for cultural activities. College is regulated in 2 shifts, morning shift is for PG students and noon shift is for UG students. Library facility is also available in which 2 cards are issued through which one can carry 2 books to home for 20 days.
Faculty: It contains permanent faculty members of IMS as well as outsource faculty members. The knowledge level and delivery direction is also good. Faculty members guide students on time to time basis for placements and future career plans. The results are also announced on timely basis.
Other: Cultural fests, sports events and all other co curricular activities are regularly organized in college apart from Placements activities which run through out the year.

Dissatisfied with faculty and course.
Placements: The placement package went up to Rs.6,50,000 per annum which is offered mainly by Bajaj Finance and Deloitte. The average package ranges to 3 Lacs. The companies like ICICI, Axis and other small finance companies along with insurance come here for campus placements. You may consider this college if you wish to have only a degree.
Infrastructure: You can imagine the infrastructure as it's a government. The college which was constructed in 1969. You may not get water in the washroom. Moreover, toilets and benches are broken. If you have looked the government schools at any place, you will be able to consider it. You will face electricity and water problems daily.
Faculty: The faculty are good, but they don't teach anything as they are aware that their job is a government one. They won't get suspended in any case. The course is very old and doesn't match with the current scenario. The visiting faculty are good. The permanent faculty don't even teach us 30% of the syllabus. But, they will give good marks in the exam.
Other: The crowd is good.

If your CMAT score is above 85 percentile, then you have a good probability to bag IMS & IIPS.

If you want to do MBA dedicated into banking and Finance I suggest go for NIBM it is the best college for MBA in BFSI. Else for MBA in Finance go for IMS & Other Institutes.

Yes you have a fair chance of getting admission in IMS. It would depend on your rank also for getting the admission.
