Dhanbad Institute of Technology provides a Diploma degree.
Placements: In our mining branch, there are no placements in our college, nor in any other college, but in other branches like mechanical, electric, where the average is almost 2-3 LPA. The most recruited companies are Jindal and Tata Steel as well. Almost 60-70 percent of students have been offered jobs, except for the mining branch. The college provides many courses in electrical engineering, mining engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, and computer science engineering.
Infrastructure: There is so much better infrastructure available. There are 24-hour generator facilities available for students, free Wi-Fi is available in the classroom, which is properly cleaned at all times, and a library is also available, and it is free of cost. Hostel, mess, and canteen are all set up in the area of the college. Medical and indoor or outdoor games are always played on Saturday.
Faculty: No doubt the teacher provides their best. They are qualified. The teaching quality is good. This college is just 3 years old, so I can't be sure if the students are ready for the industry. Semester exams are neither hard nor easy. It depends on your skills and preparation. 33 percent is the minimum pass percentage.
Other: I chose mining engineering because it has a wide scope in our city, and the demand is high abroad. Our syllabus should require changes in NEP. All infrastructure is maintained.
