Review of Dhemaji Polytechnic.

Placements: There were no placements provided by the college. Many students were hired by the government. Many students were admitted to B.Tech colleges by the Assam government. Some students got trading jobs at ONGC and other companies. Some end up working for the government. Some students go to other states for higher education.

Infrastructure: Our college did not have a boys' hostel but the construction of the girls' hostel was complete. The college was good at sports. The campus was so large. The college was near the Siman River.

Faculty: Our faculty members were excellent at teaching. They provided us with notes on every subject. The majority of faculty members hold M.Tech. and Ph.D. degrees. Our teachers helped us do our final-year project and we did our best. The lab was good.

Inside Dhemaji Polytechnic.

Placements: In the Electrical Department, there are a total of 200 students. The highest salary offered is Rs. 80,000 per month, and the lowest salary starts from Rs. 25,000 per month. The average salary is approximately Rs. 45,000. The top recruiting companies for this course are APDCL, Oil India Limited, ONGC, etc. Every student should join an internship from 3th sem to the 5th it is compulsory. Focused on power generation, transmission, distribution, and substation operations.

Infrastructure: Dhemaji Polytechnic is an AICTE-approved institute well equipment labs for every department, workshops, a library, and a smart classroom for every department. There is no hostel in Dhemaji Polytechnic, it is under construction, and students live in rented rooms or PG.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. They have so much knowledge about the course, and the teaching of every teacher is good. The course curriculum is relevant, but it needs little practical knowledge, which they can get while going for internships. The semester exams are a little tough, the pass percentage is 40%.

Other: I chose this course because my dream was to be an electrical engineer. The best thing about this course is that we can learn to make things work. The thing that I would improve about my course is practical knowledge. There are many scholarships for this course, and in this college, we celebrate every event with love. The surroundings of our college is quiet pleasant.

Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board. Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE. The Maximum age limit for UR/OBC/MOBC is 20 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024, for SC/ST, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024 and for PH/PwD, maximum age limit is 25 years 6 months as on on 31-12-2024. NOTE: No compartmental candidate will be allowed to take admission. For Rank Generation Marks of Four Subjects (Maths, Science, English And Social Science) will be Considered.
