My time at Dhenkanal Autonomous College.

Placements: More than 7 students are placed in my course. The highest package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Biocon and Serum Institute of India. All students get internships from Hereditary Biosciences in microbiology and genetics. In biotechnology, top roles often involve leadership, research, and specialized expertise.

Infrastructure: Average infrastructure but enough facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library. NSS camps are organized, and YRC is also there. The hostel has good infrastructure, and the food quality in the canteen is also good. There are good medical facilities and a big ground for sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is excellent. This course makes students industry-ready to become a powerful generation. Semesters are organized every six months, and questions are very easy. The pass percentage of students is nearly 85 to 90%.

Other: I chose this course because it is a unique course offered in this college, otherwise no other colleges offer biotechnology. It is the best because it is the future of the world. Events are organized every year, and other activities are also conducted here. A good amount of scholarship is given.
