On Fees and Eligibility
Q:   How much does BBA at DAITM Kolkata cost?
A:

The cost of a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme at Dr. Sudhir Chandra Sur Degree Engineering College and Management College (DAITM) in Kolkata was not available. The cost of education, including tuition fees, varies depending on the school, programme length, and other expenses. It is advisable to check the institution's official website or directly contact the admission office to acquire accurate and up-to-date information regarding the cost of the BBA programme at DAITM Kolkata. On their official websites, institutions often give thorough information about their price structures, describing tuition fees, test fees, dormitory fees (if applicable), and any other additional expenditures. Consider the following questions when inquiring about the cost of the BBA program:

  • Tuition: Determine the yearly or semester-by-semester tuition rates for the BBA program. Inquire about pricing changes for different years of the program.
  • Examination Fees: Some universities may charge different examination fees, so be aware of these extra charges.
  • Hostel Fees (if applicable): If you intend to stay in the institution's hostel, inquire about lodging fees, food plans, and any other connected charges.Financial Aid and Scholarships: Determine whether the university provides financial aid, scholarships, or installment payment plans to help cover the overall cost of education.

Keep in mind that charge structures might vary, and the information presented here is based on my most recent knowledge update. It is best to contact DAITM directly for the most up-to-date information. Admissions offices are often well-equipped to give detailed information regarding the cost of school as well as any available financial aid.

Q:   Are pursuing UG courses at DAITM Kolkata expensive?
A:

Pursuing UG courses at DAITM Kolkata is expensive. Please refer to the official website or contact the admission/finance office directly for data on tuition fees and other charges for the most up-to-date and detailed information on the cost of studying undergraduate courses at DAITM Kolkata.

The cost of undergraduate courses varies greatly depending on the university, the program, and other variables. To receive the most current and up-to-date information on the costs of studying UG courses at DAITM Kolkata, I recommend visiting the institution's official website or contacting the admission or finance office directly. Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members.
Placements: 60% of students were placed. Minimum salary package offered was Rs 15,000 per month. Top companies Sunknowledge and Teleperformance were common. Only few students were placed in Accenture. Roles offered were telecaller or any low-level post like associate.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available but not for students only for so called professors but fees were taken by students. Classrooms were pretty good but AC only works in professors room. Library was a bit good. In canteen, the food price was quite normal and quality was a bit good.
Faculty: Teachers were quite qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were very much helpful and respectful. It made the students ready for the industry. If one study then also semester exam could not be cracked with good marks, as teachers recommend one thing and other stuff come in the exam.

An honest college review.
Placements: Oercentage of getting a placement is very low. The highest package is 3.4 LPA. Accenture, Wipro, and TCS are companies that come for placements, along with some other companies. The roles are basically tech support roles in companies, and the internship rate is also low in our course.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel provided in our college. The campus consists of only one building, and that's it, not a very large campus. Facilities like the library, common games room, and seminar hall are the only facilities available, alongside water filters and dispensers which provide cold water.
Faculty: Faculty, like in any other college, is diverse. Teachers are qualified enough to teach us, but some teachers are loose in their teaching style. That’s why, in my experience, I did not learn anything from them, but most of them are nice. The curriculum makes us students 20% ready, the rest you have to learn on your own. The passing rate in exams is above 85%.
Other: The fests and sports days were the fun part, and the canteen is also a place to make a lot of memories. I chose the course because my school friends chose it, nothing else.

I am neither too satisfied nor too dissatisfied with my college.
Placements: Around 70-75% of students got placements. The average package offered in our college ranges from 3-3.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are Amazon, Accenture, Tata, etc. Around 80-85% of students got internships based on their specialisation.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are more or less good. There is Wi-Fi in the library but not in the classroom and labs. Labs are well-maintained. There is no AC in the classrooms so it is difficult to stay in classes in the summer. There are no hostels in the college.
Faculty: Faculty members are really good in our department. They are really helpful and very educated. But some of them don't know how to manage the class. So that's why sometimes it gets messed up. The grooming sessions are there. Guards are very strict in semester exams.
Other: I chose the course because I think I am suitable for it. I think better internship chances and better placements can improve the interest of the students in this course.

College is very good and our teaching quality is very good.
Placements: 75% of students got placed in our college. The highest and lowest package offered in our college is 5 LPA - 6 LPA. Top recruiters of our college are Apollo, Fortis, Manipal, RN Tagore, etc. 100% of students got internships from our course at Apollo, Fortis, etc. Top role offered in our course is HR department.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are always available for our course. There are all time free Wi-Fi and we have language lab, computer lab, etc. We also have a library. The quality of food is so good and average price at the college canteen. We don't have any hostel. We have medical facilities. We also have table tennis sports room.
Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. This course curriculum is relevant to our teaching industry and it is so helpful. Semester exams at the college are very tough. The pass percentage is around 40%.
Other: I chose this course because there are many opportunities. The best thing about our course is high growth. I want my course to improve in AI technology for high-growth and high-quality services. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarship, and extracurricular activities are there.

College review: Absolutely decent.
Infrastructure: Our department had a dedicated classroom with a modern projector, classrooms, and high-speed internet access at the college.
Faculty: Faculty of our college was highly qualified, experienced, and approachable. The professors have doctoral degrees in their respective fields and bring a strong academic research background to the classroom. The faculty members used to mix traditional methods with modern teaching.
Other: In addition to academics, my experience was enriched by activities that played a vital role in my personal and professional growth. Our institution emphasized overall growth by encouraging data events, student clubs, SPO, and community good.

It's an average college that offers good courses at low fees.
Placements: Around 20-30% of students are placed within the last 5 years, and this percentage is decreasing day by day. The course fee offered at my college is 2.1 LPA. I don't know about other course fees. Apollo, Amri, Desun, Ruby, and Neotia are among the recruiting companies for my course. Currently, 50% of people got internships from my course, mainly in local hospitals, and in roles such as HR, PR, etc.
Infrastructure: Most of the necessary things are available, like syllabus-wise books, a section-wise library, and classrooms are clean and hygienic. Wi-Fi is available in every room. Labs are available for BCA and BMLT courses. All facilities are quite good, and the price of the food in the canteen is average.
Faculty: Teachers are good, experienced and knowledgeable, helping every time. The curriculum is somewhat relevant, but some subjects are not relevant to the course. I think it depends on the student if they really want to learn or not. The difficulty level is medium, and the passing percentage is around 80-90%.
Other: I chose this course to get a job. It's easy to get a job. The syllabus should be changed.
