One of the best colleges in Kolkata with great placements and industrial training.

Placements: Overall, the placements are good with the majority of the students getting placed. Many well reputed companies visit the campus for recruitment. Our college provide all sort of support for the placement. We are provided with various industrial training.

Infrastructure: We have smart classrooms that are equipped with projectors. Fully air conditioned library with wide range of books available. We can have xerox at nominal price. Separate common rooms for girls and boys with table tennis, chess etc. facility. Totally CCTV secured campus.

Faculty: Faculty are very helpful. They provide us with all kinds of support such as study materials, various presentations. Lecture notes through google classroom and WhatsApp. They share their experience and provide us with real life examples. They are always there when we are in any problem.

Infrastructure: Our college has the top-notch infrastructure to create a centre of excellence and to organise advanced studies. There are spacious and well-equipped seminar rooms. Facilities available for extracurricular activities include table tennis, football, cricket and badminton. Apart from classrooms and seminar rooms, our college has well-equipped computer labs and library to cater to the requirement of the curriculum.

I am satisfied but hoped for better placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were not that good. Almost 3-4 students were placed in Infosys and rest were placed in some random start-up companies. Companies such as MNCs like TCS, CTS, Genpact, Wipro, didn't conduct their interview process as assured by the college during admission.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was pretty good. Facilities such as lifts are available here, and there are two lifts. We were asked not to buy any books and will be provided with books from the library itself. The canteen is a bit small. The top floor, i.e., on the 5th floor, all the lab sessions, are held. We also had a common room which had a carrom and table tennis.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were pretty good. The college was very strict regarding its rules and regulations and also classes. At least 60% of attendance was mandatory, and the principal and authority were also strict enough. Faculty like SP sir, PR mam (HOD), were very helpful and supportive at the same time.

Other: The annual sports event is held here. Cricket tournament and different types of race competitions for both boys and girls were organised. We also conduct freshers and fest, but 2019 fest was postponed due to elections. However, our principal, Sanjukta Nandy, promised us that she would ask us to organise one for the last time.

It has been a really good college for me. I recommend it to others too.

Placements: Placements in this college are good. Many well-known companies visit to hire students. Even the placements for our senior batch were very good. I have completed BCA from this college before doing M.Sc. As per my knowledge, a maximum of 40% to 50% of students get placed every year.

Infrastructure: Labs are very good at this college and are good enough for every individual student. Classrooms are very big and airy. The college library has a good collection of books, which students can borrow whenever they want. Wi-Fi facility could have been better. The quality of food offered in the canteen was not up to the mark.

Faculty: Faculty members of this college are very friendly with students. They always support students and motivate them to achieve their goals. Teachers are well qualified, but some teachers can improve teaching methods. Industry exposure is also enough for students to understand the practical implications of concepts.

Best college for pursuing M.Sc. Computer Science.

Placements: I have just completed the 1st semester of the course. So I have no experience in industrial training and placement. But I have learnt from seniors, teachers that most of the students are placed in different companies like Tata Consultancy Service, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Wipro, Genpact.

Infrastructure: The computer lab is well-equipped with modern hardware. And there are more than enough computers for every student. Classrooms have digital projectors installed. They help a lot in terms of presentation and day to day classes. Other facilities are- Wi-Fi Zones, Library, Seminar Room, Language Lab, hardware Lab.

Faculty: The most notable thing about this college is the faculty members. They go over and beyond to help the students. We can contact them anytime about our doubts, even after college hours. The method teaching, method of evaluation is outstanding. It has a homely atmosphere because teachers teach us like parents.
