My journey as a student in the college.
Placements: I think the college is not providing us with placements for BCA candidates. BCA is only a course at this college; no placements are being provided by them to us. We are trying to get off-side placement. So that we can get placed in other companies for our set future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good as well. There is a huge library in the college on two floors, where a lot of books are provided to read according to the syllabus requirements. They have a huge number of computer centers in the college where we can play games as well.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly educated. All teachers hold the PhD qualification as faculty members in the college and those who are as guest faculty are master degree holder. They treat and guide us like our friends and tell us what to do for a better future.

My journey as a BCA student.
Placements: No placements are provided to us in the BCA batch. Only B.Tech. students were getting placed. You have to find offside placements from your own side. If you need to get a job and be placed, you can opt for another university branch of PTU. But not the main campus; I hope you understand.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. Our department is very good; they help us a lot with every problem where we get stuck. Our faculty members are also good; they help us a lot in choosing our future career options and what to choose after BCA.
Faculty: If you are on the main campus, then you have the great facility of seeing marks before the result is announced. The second point is that PTU believes in quality, not quantity, in the answers to the question. You can write the answers in points that can help a lot instead of filling out pages like Gndu.
Other: I chose this course because I do not have the financial resources to pursue a B.Tech. degree, which is too expensive for a middle-class family. You can choose BCA instead of B.Tech and after this, you can choose an extra 1-year course to get placed in a better company.

Review of Directorate of Distance Education, PTU.
Placements: Placements are good but not very good in BCA. Very few companies visited here and the average package is 3 LPA - 4 LPA. In BCA there is 40-50% students placed. Companies visited here but due to lack of students' skills, the result is bad. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is also great and attractive. Facilities are also good on this campus. There are computer labs, a huge library, PTU canteen, Verka shop, stationary inside the campus, and many more things. Hostel facilities are also great as there is a canteen inside the hostel which is open until 2 am late night.
Faculty: Faculty is holders and guest faculty are holders. Teachers are all great here and friendly in nature. They are always ready to help students to make projects at higher levels and in studies also. The course is of 3 years. Exams are not too difficult and not too easy.
Other: Social life on the campus is also good as there are some events organized like Agaaz, Youth Fest, cultural fests, and many more small programs are organized. Scholarship and loan facilities are available here. PMs for SC/ST students.

Our college is good in all aspects.
Placements: About 20% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The salary packages depend on students' skills. Top recruiting companies TCS, Wipro, and Tata. Top roles offered are developer and tester.
Infrastructure: All classrooms are air-conditioned. Our campus has a huge library. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Many labs are available in our college for different courses. The food served in the mess and canteen is good. Our college provides all the equipment for sports and games. Our college has four badminton courts, two volleyball grounds, a cricket ground, and an indoor stadium. Our college has an auditorium.
Faculty: Teachers are average. The teaching quality depends on every teacher. Some teachers are Ph.D. holders. The course curriculum is the best and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much difficult if you study well.
Other: I opted for this course because I am interested in the IT industry. Our college should improve and make some societies or clubs on campus for student interaction. Events and fests are organised in our college auditorium. Our college provides scholarships to students.

Overall, it is the best college.
Placements: In our college, about 80% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA by TCS and Wipro. The lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA in Cognizant. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant visit the college to hire students. Only 10-20% of students from our course get an internship. It offers courses like computer engineering, computer science, computer application, and mechanical engineering.
Infrastructure: I would rate it five stars for the hostel room. In a room, two students live, and a bathroom is attached with it. Wi-Fi is available 24 hours. Labs are good. The library is open 24 hours. Classrooms are good in our college.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is better than other colleges. In my course, exams are conducted in the best way. In the semester exams, you should continuously study.
Other: I suggest you join this course if you have less money and you should want to opt for the coding field. It is the best course. In our course, you should study regularly and do not bunk classes without urgent work. Our college organises events. The campus crowd is not large. In the board result, if we score 75% in 12, then we will get a 50% scholarship. If we score 80-90% in 12, then we will get a 75% scholarship. If we score above 90% in 12, then we will get a 100% scholarship.

It has good infrastructure, better placements, and some good faculty members.
Placements: The placements here are quite good compared to other institutions. The highest package is 16 LPA, while the average package is almost 4 LPA. Big companies like Infosys offer placements. The roles offered are software engineers, web developers etc. Most recruitments are done in the computer science department.
Infrastructure: If you are looking for a college or university with good infrastructure, I.K Gujral PTU can be a good choice. The infrastructure is heart-touching, with huge buildings and greenery all around the campus. The hostels are quite spacious with good mess food.
Faculty: The semester exams are difficult compared to other universities. But the faculty are quite helpful and hard working. The curriculum selection is very good as subjects covered are good which are suitable for jobs in big companies. Some faculty members are not helpful.

Our college offers quality technical education at affordable cost.
Placements: Around 90% of students got placement offers after completing the course. Some students bagged offers, while few students rejected, and opted to pursue higher education. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Wipro, etc. Around 10% of the students got internships in the banking sector as IT analysts. The roles offered are quality assurance analyst, developer, and system engineer.
Infrastructure: In our college, the infrastructure was top-notch including facilities like Wi-Fi, computer laboratories, centrally air-conditioned smart classrooms, and state of an art library. The quality of food served in the hostel was good and affordable. There were 24X7 medical facilities. Refreshment and entertainment include outdoor sports and indoor games.
Faculty: Teachers were very knowledgeable in their respective streams and very helpful. Their teaching quality was top-notch. The course was very relevant to the curriculum, and it makes students ready for industry. The semester exams are up to the mark, and not much difficult for students. The pass percentage will be around 95%.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my interest in it. The best things in this course include weekend classes conducted on the campus or getting anytime online classes from pre-recorded lectures. The college should guide online examinations. Events and college fests were also organised at times. Scholarships were offered to students who have scored above 60% of marks at graduation level. Extracurricular activities conducted here include social welfare as well.

It is a good college to get admission at a low academic percentage.
Placements: About 70% of students get placed from here. The highest salary package offered until now was 12.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. But the average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Top recruiters here are HDFC, Wipro, Hero Cycles, etc. I am in the 2nd semester and learning online now, so I don't have any knowledge about internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not available in our hostel. For using Wi-Fi, you should go to the library. The library, labs and classrooms are excellent. The hostel is good, and mineral water is available in the hostel. There are elevators also, but I hate the food served here most. I stayed in the hostel only for a month, and I fell sick due to the poor quality of food. The canteen is available, and the medical facilities are good. There are also good sports and games.
Faculty: There are good teachers here, and they are helpful and qualified. Some teachers are much good, but not all. Even some of them are the worst. The course curriculum is the same as the other colleges. I think this course curriculum doesn't make students job-ready. For making students job-ready, colleges should teach the latest technologies like data science, AI, etc.
Other: ECE is a good course for students who are interested in both technical and non-tech fields. This was the reason for me to choose this course. I wish that our college should use technology to teach students. This may help students to learn better. Many events are organised here, and recently a tech-fest is held named Avahan.
