Directorate of Distance Education, PTU Scholarships and Funding
Post Matric Scholarship Scheme:
The scholarship scheme is run by the Government for the students belonging to SC/ ST category with family income from all sources less than INR 2.5 lacs.
Candidates admitted to Distance Education Program are eligible for scholarship scheme if they have secured high rank in the qualifying exam.
a) Full tuition fee waived to merit holders as declared by the University
b) 50% tuition fee to the candidate who has secured more than 70% marks in the qualifying
examination

Placements: I think the college is not providing us with placements for BCA candidates. BCA is only a course at this college; no placements are being provided by them to us. We are trying to get off-side placement. So that we can get placed in other companies for our set future.
Placements: No placements are provided to us in the BCA batch. Only B.Tech. students were getting placed. You have to find offside placements from your own side. If you need to get a job and be placed, you can opt for another university branch of PTU. But not the main campus; I hope you understand.
Placements: Placements are good but not very good in BCA. Very few companies visited here and the average package is 3 LPA - 4 LPA. In BCA there is 40-50% students placed. Companies visited here but due to lack of students' skills, the result is bad. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Cognizant etc.
Placements: About 20% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA. The salary packages depend on students' skills. Top recruiting companies TCS, Wipro, and Tata. Top roles offered are developer and tester.
Placements: In our college, about 80% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA by TCS and Wipro. The lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA in Cognizant. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Cognizant visit the college to hire students. Only 10-20% of students from our course get an internship. It offers courses like computer engineering, computer science, computer application, and mechanical engineering.
Placements: The placements here are quite good compared to other institutions. The highest package is 16 LPA, while the average package is almost 4 LPA. Big companies like Infosys offer placements. The roles offered are software engineers, web developers etc. Most recruitments are done in the computer science department.
