For admissions in B.E./B.Tech offered by Dnyanshree Institute of Engineering and Technology the admission procedure is done on the basis of score secured in MHT CET or JEE Main. The applicants should have cleared 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50 % aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM). The institute takes into account the AIR score of JEE Main and the student has to secure a rank less than 1,50, 000. The last choice is made according to the candidate's ranking; 70 percent of the students get admission through MHT CET and 30 percent through JEE Main.

The MHT CET cutoff of the Dnyanshree Institute of Engineering and Technology also depends on the course and the round. Here the overall cutoff percentile range is 40.16 - 65.88 for GPA – HSC MHT CET for the GOPENH category. Here are some specific cutoffs for different courses: B.E Computer Science & Engineering 65.88 B.E Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering 58.16 B.E Electrical Engineering 54.18 while B.E CIVIL Engineering have comparatively lower scores of 40.16. The foregoing cutoffs are based on the 2024 figures shown above, but these figures may vary slightly when the new academic year's cutoffs are released. The cutoffs too can fluctuate based on the type of seats being institute level seats or CAP seats. Hence, the institute generally declares the cutoffs soon after the declaration of the MHT CET results.

The institute has about ten to twelve clubs like robotics club, coding club, a sports club, and a cultural club. Some of them include debate, quizzes and even cultural activities among others. The institute also celebrates tech fest and cultural fest every year and which are attended by 1000-1500 students from different colleges. Further, the candidates have to have appeared for MHT CET or JEE Main examination to apply for the programmes offered at both the institutions. The institute also takes into account the AIR of JEE Main and the candidate needs to have a rank within JEE Main's range of 1,50,000. The fees structure of B.E./B.Tech is almost about eighty thousand rupees per year.

In Dnyanshree Institute of Engineering and Technologys, the semester exam results are generally announced in 30 to 40 days after the examination. But the dates may differ according to the semester and the academic year. For example, The MHT CET is announced in June while the examination is conducted in the April that falls in between April 19 to 27 for PCM stream and April 9 to 17 for PCB stream. To-date information concerning semester exams may be found only on the web site of the institute or by calling the administration.

Currently, the institute has a strength of 60-70 professors; however, only 20-25 of these professors have a Ph.D. The faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:15, creating possibilities of giving special attention and directions. On an average the teaching faculty in the various disciplines was found to have an experience of 10-15 years and some of the members possess Industrial experience of 15-20 years. The faculty members are also engaged in research and development programme and the university produce approximately fifty to sixty research papers in national and international journal annually.

Lastly, complete the application form by entering the personal and academic details and upload the 10+2 mark sheet, MHT CET and or JEE Main score card and any other relevant form of ID. Submit the cost of the application fee that is about INR 800 via demand draft or online modes only. Complete the application form and get the acknowledgment receipt printed. More than 5000 to 6000 candidates take the exam every year and the admission process begins in January.
