Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2024
3.8
The perfect balance between education and life.
Placements: We were a total batch of 101 students out of which 7 got year down and 1 left out of 93 a total of 3 people got placed one in Godrej and 2 in Adani. The highest package offer was 6.5 Lacs CTC and the lowest was around 2.5 Lacs CTC. Our college has a dedicated placement cell that is constantly in touch with us and notifies us regarding company offers, all the architectural firms in Pune and Mumbai offer junior architect positions for freshers internships are compulsory for archi students.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is well-equipped with a library computer lab with a 3d print. The library has good books related to architecture. The college shares sports grounds with other colleges and schools inside the patil campus. The hostel is located within walking distance of the college but now a new hostel is been constructed just in front of the campus. The hostel facility is semi luxurious one would say the food is average. Sports equipment is also provided by the college.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members have been replaced by recently graduated postgraduates with minimal experience. However, their knowledge of the subject is still quite good. The course curriculum is standardized by the university and is designed to prepare students for the job market, although in practice, it does not do much to achieve this. Semester exams are not very difficult. You don't need to study extensively to pass. If you simply listen to the faculty and complete your assignments on time, you will easily succeed in the exams.
Other: I choose this course because architecture fascinates me, applying design to space to revitalize it is my core idea of choosing architecture, the course is intriguing, but most architects are underpaide that I will like to improve, the campus is great for undergraduate students its a mix of all activities study good fest student interaction is great, you get to know people seniors are helpful, you will have a lot of extracurricular activities and events such as shearforce amidan e jung, buildtech nasa etc. Which helping create a onf between your sr and jr's.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2027
4.0
Satisfied because of the best teaching staff and college life.
Placements: 5 to 6 students get placed every year with a package of 20 lakhs to 49 lakhs. Internships are not from the college side; students have to decide where they want to do an internship. As an architectural student, you have to focus on your portfolio so the best companies reach out to you.
Infrastructure: The college provides us with Wi-Fi all the time. We have the best classroom for studio work and 4 lecture halls for guest lectures. We have a digital library with access to the college ID card. A computer lab with almost 40 to 50 PCs with all the software required for architectural students.
Faculty: Teaching and non-teaching staff are both very supportive. Teaching faculty helps in every subject. They don't hesitate to recall every topic during exam time. The course curriculum is based on the guidelines of the Council of Architecture and under the SPPU rules. Exams are not so hard as it is mostly based on sessional work, but students have to complete their work on time to get a pass.

Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) - Batch of 2024
3.6
Good infrastructure, faculty members and curriculum but average placements.
Placements: The percentage of placement is roughly 30%. The highest package offered was 7 LPA, the lowest was around 3 LPA and the average package is nearly 4.5 LPA. The internship percentage is quite high, around 60%. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Godrej, and Publicize Sapient. The top roles offered are junior architect, urban planner, junior project manager, and junior interior designer.
Infrastructure: The facilities available on campus are quite good and satisfactory. Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are all excellent. The mess and canteen are also good, with good food quality. One can have good food even outside campus, as there are multiple hotels and stalls available. The medical facility is decent on campus, plus you can find a couple of clinics nearby so no worries. The sport activities are fairly good to decent, as in architecture there are more site visits than sport activities.
Faculty: Faculty members and curriculum are good here, as you get well-skilled faculty members in architecture. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good as there is enough balance between classroom and practical study in architecture. The curriculum is on par with industry standards so its quite effective. Semester exams are moderately difficult and the pass criteria is a minimum of 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I had a passion to pursue a career in architecture. I think this course demands a more practical approach, site visits and study, and an internship, which is somewhat mission-oriented and can be improved. The college offers a good campus with a good blend of extracurricular activities and study, which is good. The events are popular here at the DY Patil Campus.

The college is absolutely good because of faculty .
Placements: Almost 60-70% students are placed. The highest package was 400000 and the lowest was 100000. Top recruiters companies are all architects firms across Pune. Top roles offered in our college. They give us all they can give as in the staff is always helpful to us.
Infrastructure: Facilities that are available at our college are Wi-Fi, labs, library, sports ground, classrooms, auditorium, also there is waiting lounge, amphitheater and also canteen is available in the campus. Quality of facilities available in hostel were good. Good food .
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful in our college. They help us solve doubts all the time. Semesters are difficult in our college. The course is relevant as the students are ready do internship or do job anywhere outside. As they teach us the best of our course.
Other: B.Arch is my course and as I wanted to work in infrastructure field and wanted to grow my family's ongoing projects so I had chosen this course.

It is my pleasure to pursue my graduation from this college.
Placements: The college provides placement opportunities for the students having communication skills and technical knowledge. Many companies visited the college to hire the students of our batch. New companies are offering good packages and giving opportunities to the knowledgeable students.
Infrastructure: Environment-friendly atmosphere is present on the campus, and students always like to go to the college every day. There will be no issues with the noise of vehicles as the college is located far away from the main road. The canteen is good enough to have a nice breakfast and lunch. The college also provides hostel facilities.
Faculty: There are good faculty members for all the subjects. They are well-knowledgeable, and they have very good practical knowledge. Mostly, they explain with the help of examples which make the students understand the concepts better. It is our pleasure to have such faculty members. They always stay in our minds with their teaching skills and research skills.

It's fun, and people are good, but you need to adapt and improvise to make it big.
Placements: The lack of campusing procedures in our field makes the college brand important for gaining contacts and personal interviews. In this college, though, that is easy to do, according to my observation. The faculty members guide and help the student in all the aspects.
Infrastructure: All the infrastructure that you can think of, i.e., starting from Wi-Fi facility, labs, library, ground, and everything is present here. Maybe, not very world-class, but the basic requirements can be easily met with the facilities provided. The campus is big with numerous canteens.
Faculty: The visiting faculty members are very good, with immensely knowledgeable teaching. Most of the senior core faculty members are good, but being based on quality based evaluation, it is important for the students on be in the good books of the teachers, as they only decide everything.

The students move in the right direction.
Placements: Architectural Colleges in India except the few elite ones does not provide full proof placements instead they guide and assist you in getting in contact with the firms and getting jobs. It is not like conventional placements that happen in engineering colleges. If you are domicile and don't want to take jobs in the city of your college, then it is not much of a help as it does not have contacts with the firms outside the city. The placement cell was not much of a help to me, so I would say it is average.
Infrastructure: The first thing that amused me when I entered this college was the campus. Being from Mumbai, I never came across colleges with this huge campuses, with the very well-designed landscape, well-maintained classrooms, library, computer hall, reading halls, courtyard, etc. The whole college campus is Wi-Fi enabled. It had the very good infrastructure. On the negative side of the story, there are not enough classrooms for all the batches which they are planning on to increase. The girl's hostel is exactly opposite. The college campus is well facilitated, whereas boys hostel is little away from the college, and has very few facilities, but the college is now being affiliated to an international university which brings hope to an improvement.
Faculty: The college is not having very good teachers during our course of time, but from the collaboration of the college with an international university, the faculty is improving day by day. In our final year in the college, a lot of new faculty members were very good. Overall, there are good staff and faculty.
Other: The college enjoys a lot of events around the year. The main event is Revive which is a cultural fest goes on for three days with lots of artistic and cultural activities. Being an architecture student, the most awaited time for me was the NASA competition which is an architecture and design competition which brings out your creative self and helps you learn a lot about the world you have jumped into. The college also hosts build-tech which is an event in which all the classes compete against each other in their knowledge about building technology and materials. There are many more events around the year of which these are the few, and I'm sure you will enjoy your 5 years of college life. The connectivity of the college is very close to the Akurdi Railway station. I used to stay in the Pune city which is about 25 KMs from the college. I used to travel up and down every day but never felt tired as it is very well-connected, whatever be your mode of travel. You have local trains, and by road, it is well-connected through two highways which I found the most convenient as both the roads are in a very good condition. Surroundings are the town of Akurdi mainly grew due to this college of ours. Everything around is developed primarily keeping the college in mind, according to the students and their requirements. You can find each and everything in your close vicinity be it a gym, music classes, theatres, malls, stationers, etc. Also, for the students who come from far places, they can easily find a good place to stay in the college. All types of accommodation are available to be it a bungalow, flats, PGs, etc.

I'm happy with the faculty and infrastructure on the campus, which are good.
Placements: There are no placements in architecture. We have to find a job on our own. There is an internship of 6 months duration during the course. It gives us proper exposure to us. Good teachers, who take us for site visits and provide proper knowledge for the subject.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure, library, sports ground, computer labs, classroom, good quality of food available in the canteen, and also Wi-Fi facility. There are separate buildings for new and old engineering college. Separate buildings for pharmacy, MCA, MBA, Polytechnic, and a new building is being constructed for arts and craft.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and qualified. They use the different media for teaching. The student to faculty ratio is 20:1. The exposure was good in the field of architecture. The classrooms are good with proper ventilation and lighting. The classrooms are spacious. The size of the classroom is around 200 sq.m for 60 students.
Other: The events are conducted time to time. There is a college fest once in a year. The college is next to railway station and bus stand.
