Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology offers 10 full-time courses. The school offers UG, PG and Diploma level programmes in affiliation with Pune University. DYPSOET offers BE in five major specialisations such as Civil, Mechanical, Automobile Engineering, etc. Besides, the school offers ME in Structural Engineering, Construction Management and Computer Engineering.

The overall cost of the B.E. in ETE programme at the Dr. D. Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology is around INR 2.24 lakh.

Dr. D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology considers JEE Main or MHT CET scores for admission to BE programmes. In 2021, the highest score in MHT CET was 82.25 for Computer Engineering. The lowest was 13.24 for Civil Engineering. For JEE Main, the highest cutoff in 2021 was 228137 of Computer Engineering. 

DYPSOET Pune offers entrance-based admission to its ME programme. The institute accepts admissions through the Centralized Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Maharashtra CET cell (DTE). To participate in the CAP, candidates must have a valid GATE score. Hence, GATE is the entrance exam required to secure ME admission at DYPSOET Pune. The exam is jointly conducted by IISc and 7 IITs on behalf of the National Co-ordination Board. Aspirants must visit the official GATE website to apply.

The placement records at D.Y. Patil School of Engineering and Technology has always been one of the best.
