{Source: MBA/PGDM students & alumni}Effectiveness of the Placement Cell for MBA/PGDM Programs at School of ManagementBased on the feedback from students and alumni, the effectiveness of the placement cell for MBA/PGDM programs at School of Management is mixed. Here's a summary:* Limited efforts: Some students felt that the placement committee did not put in enough effort to secure job placements for students. One student mentioned that the committee expected students who had already secured jobs to contact companies themselves, instead of actively working towards placing students.* Good placement rates: Despite these limitations, almost 100% of students from the course got placed, with salaries ranging from INR7.5-INR8 LPA.* Active involvement in campus placements: The university has an active training and placement cell that approaches top companies and MNCs for campus interviews. The placement committee also conducts mock interviews and group discussions to prepare students.* Good infrastructure and facilities: The school has a good campus with modern infrastructure, including a canteen, library, computer lab, and air-conditioned classrooms.Overall, while some students were disappointed with the placement committee's efforts, the programme still managed to achieve good placement rates. However, more proactive measures could be taken by the placement cell to improve the overall experience for students.
