Review of Emerald Heights College.
Placements: Many companies recruit students from our college across various branches. Some of them include Wipro, Sutherland, Global Services, IBM, TCS, Transworld, Waste, KGiSL, and others. Job opportunities for B.Sc. Zoology students are limited. The college does not provide internship opportunities but helps us find them.
Infrastructure: Overall, it is good but could improve with a more practical orientation. Revisions to the course have occurred, adding new subjects that are more relevant today. The hostel at our college has excellent infrastructure, offering sharing options with twin and triple occupancy. The establishment fee is about 4,000 per year. The hostel provides amenities such as a TV, internet, mess, sports, and other facilities. Mess charges are around $1,400 per month.
Faculty: The faculty in our college is good. They are well-educated and effective in teaching. They conduct regular practical classes and assist us when needed. They address our doubts and help us understand all concepts. They are highly qualified to teach the course. Our course curriculum is robust, integrating both practical application and theory with a research-oriented focus. Our education adheres to UGC standards and meets high quality. Our labs are well-equipped with the latest technology, and we have regular practical classes that are highly beneficial and research-driven.
