A small family of architecture students and architect.
Placements: There is no placement cell in the college, and all the students have to go around in search of a job by there own like all other architecture colleges except few. If the student is doing good in the studio, then he can achieve job at any good firm in India and abroad.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is not that good as it is a government college. The main issue of the college is land as the college owns only 6 acres of land, so we don't have space to build. We have an academic block, administration block, two hostels one for boys and one for girls in the college.
Faculty: Most of the faculty who are teaching in the college are from the college only, so it works like a family. The faculty are from SPA Delhi, CCA Chandigarh, CEPT Ahmedabad. Overall, the faculty is helping and ready for us every time. The college has only two courses going on right now they are B.Arch and M.Arch.
Other: The college is like a small family.

Architecture - A way of life.
Placements: Since, there are no placements in Architecture, after graduation a student has to decide whether he/she wants to work under a firm as a junior architect or start his/her firm and practice as an individual architect. The college also runs a consultancy cell, wherein they undertake various architectural projects.
Infrastructure: The college is set up in 5.6-acres of land, and the building is situated close to the river Gomti and faces the magnificent Chhattar Manzil. The facade is broken onto arches, typical of Awadh architecture and is well-equipped with the surveying lab, materials lab, computer lab, 2-storey rich library, workshop, construction yard and large studios. A new academic building is also proposed and is under construction.
Faculty: The college offers 2 degrees- the bachelors and the master's degree in architecture. All the faculty members are practising architects, who provide in-depth knowledge from both textbook and fieldwork. The faculty resides in the campus itself which makes it easier for the students to approach them.

The faculty are good. Good placements and manageable infrastructure.
Placements: The placements through this college are like always be 100% without any doubt. The companies handpick the students. Concerning the quality of work, the salary would considerably increase in short time. Recently, Supreme has visited and offered jobs up to 5 students. All kind of role like a designer has been offered to students. Every year, we will get 100% internship from the college, and the stipend varies.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is remarkable of course. We are regularly funded by government organisations. There is high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity for 24/7, and it is available all the corners of campus. The classrooms are well-maintained with proper electrical services, and the hygiene condition is maintained. A great library with a good collection of books which includes both old and new and some of the significant books are available. The book bank is a bonus for us. There is also a fitness gym in the hostel with modern equipment and a sports club for games and other activities. The quality of the food provided in the canteen and mess is a little above average. The hostel rooms are well-equipped with daily needs with neatness and sufficient space. Since the time I came to this college, I don't felt any big deal of infrastructure issue, however, sometimes minor issues occur which will be immediately get resolved.
Faculty: Our noted faculty is India's best faculty in architecture, and the faculty has vast experience. Most of them have completed their doctorate in architecture. The teachings methods of our faculty are delightfully better than others, and all the faculty members personally access each student, not only just regarding academics but also, by other cultural activities and responses on day to day basis. The faculty to student ratio might approximately be 1:12. We always get industry exposure whenever there is a opportunity. The course curriculum is very useful, and it is designed in such a way that the student would be able to acquire deep knowledge regarding every subject with proper aapplicaton on each topic.
Other: Our college won in the national architectural competitions which was held across India. It is a very old college, and basically, the first of its type in Uttar Pradesh. The alumni of this college are now ruling across India and some in outside for design and teachings. Still have eager to get even better than before in every aspect. The scholarships are provided to almost all the students.

I am in a good place for the field of architecture as I required the interesting environment.
Placements: There is no company to visit our college because the most of the student wants to work as a freelancer and open there own firm as soon as possible, but the company that placing the student makes a contract with them that bounds them to work anywhere else. If we see the internship record, it is 100% as we are performing very well in NASA, so we have the advantage of that also.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good because it is a government college, but they are getting improved and modernising new buildings are ready. We have high-speed internet, clean and secure campus and the hostels by getting funded by the government and the alumni. There is no good place for sports as the college is very far away from the university and the campus is smaller as compared to any other college.
Faculty: Our college has experienced faculty as well as the young and qualified faculty with very friendly nature (except some). They give interesting assignments, workshops, projects, seminars, study tours(anywhere in India). We go to the site visit, survey, and research the given project, etc.

Running on its name, not its game
Placements: There are no such criteria for placements. Students are supposed to look for jobs and firms on their own. Architecture does not serve any term as placement in this college. No companies visit. Students are expected to fill internships at their own risk.
Infrastructure: It is every possible infrastructure for effective learning and a new M.Arch wing has been constructed. It serves no luxury. The Wi-Fi facility is good. The canteen is just for a namesake. No sports facility as such except for a gym. Medical facilities are not criteria served.
Faculty: The course curriculum is very old and not efficient whereas faculty is good enough to teach the desired subjects. The faculty team is very helpful and most of them are pass outs of this college itself. The student-faculty ratio is remarkable as 3-4 faculty members serve 30 students.

Gem of a college if no expectations are from your side .
Placements: Architecture courses are not fulfilled by placements rather senior-junior acquaintances help in contacts of firms. None of the companies visited our college for placement. However, each and every student is selected for an internship and is rather working for prestigious firms all across the country. Students from the college turn out to be successful enough to sustain themselves in the competitive world waiting outside.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite a handy one but not a luxurious one. Wi-Fi facility is good enough for student sustainability and can be rated good. Labs and equipment are not lavish but enough for the study and exposure of the student to such facilities. No sports or games are encouraged and no such infrastructure is provided except for a badminton court. Canteen is a merely isolated chamber with food worthless of eating.
Faculty: The faculty and the course curriculum are fantastic but the junior teaching faculty is turning out to be the flaw in the curriculum which is alarming. The course is to be blamed for the old syllabus and the techniques. No such new techniques of construction are discussed whereas students are expected to involve them but are not taught about any. The student-faculty ratio is phenomenal as a class session lecture is accompanied by 2-3 faculty members at a time, thereby making the ratio 15:1.
