Goa Institute of Management Goa admissions 2026 are entirely entrance based. The institute offers various courses at PG level like PGDM, PGDM HCM, PGDM BDA, PGDM BIFS and IDA. XAT cut off is released category wise. The cut off percentile for female candidates and male candidates are different. The cut offs for engineering and non engineering candidates are different and XAT cut offs for PGDM BM and PGDM HRM are different. As per the GIM Goa cutoff 2024, the percentile was 85 for the General All India category students. So, considering the previous year cutoff trend, a candidate must score above or in the range of 80 to 85 percentile in XAT.

GIM Goa offers full-time FPM course at doctoral level for four-years. Candidates need to complete a master's degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 60% aggregate or equivalent to apply for GIM FPM programme. Aspirants must complete and submit the online FPM application form along with a statement of purpose, interview, academic performance and a brief research proposal.

Students who apply for withdrawal on or before June 30 of the admission year, receive full refund of the academic fee after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charge. Further, there is deduction from the hostel fee based on the duration of the stay of student in the hostel. Students withdrawing from the course after June 30 of the admission year are not eligible for the refund.
Admission to GIM Goa is strictly on the basis of merit and no donation in any form is sought or accepted in connection with admission. There are no reservations for Goan candidates, but for personal interview selection, the qualifying cut-off score of the competitive exam may be lowered by up to 15 points for candidates of Goan domicile/origin.
Goa Institute of Management does ot take direct admission into PGDM courses. Candidates are required to appear in either CAT or XAT before applying for admission into this institute.
However, if a candidate is able to secure admission through management quota, direct admission if offered based on last qualifying exam scores.

There is no work experience required for admission to GIM Goa PGDM program. Do note that the institute gives weightage to work experience during evaluation. This is as per the institute's policy. Even freshers are allowed to apply.
