Students who apply for withdrawal on or before June 30 of the admission year, receive full refund of the academic fee after deduction of INR 1,000 as processing charge. Further, there is deduction from the hostel fee based on the duration of the stay of student in the hostel. Students withdrawing from the course after June 30 of the admission year are not eligible for the refund.

Admission to PGDM course is based on XAT, CAT, CMAT, GMAT scores followed by face-to-face evaluation and profile assessment index. For PGDM BDA, aspirants must also qualify GIM Analytics Aptitude Test (GAAT) for admission. Additionally, Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) is required to apply for the PGDM course. Candidates appearing in the final year of the degree must obtain 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for the PGDM course.

At the PG level, the Goa Institute of Management (GIM Goa) offers two-year full-time PGDM, HCM, BDA, BIFS, and IDA courses to students. The PGDM fee is INR 5.3 lakh - INR 19.4 lakh. This fee is exclusive of various charges such as the admission charges, transportation charges, and several other charges. Students can apply for scholarships if the fee is too high.
GIM Goa conducts GIM Analytics Aptitude Test for admission to some of the PGDM specialisations. The institute conducts GAAT by the end of January. In 2024, the exam was conducted on Jan 28, 2024. The test is for a duration of 55 minutes with MCQs. The test does not have any strict sections based on the topics stated above. This aptitude test is administered online. No, direct admissions are not available for many courses at GIM Goa. The accepted entrance tests for admission to the UG, PG, and other courses is XAT, CAT, and others. FPM direct admissions are available for students.
