Gandhi Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) was established in 2000 as Gandhi Academy of Management Studies. It is a private institute located at Salt Lake City, Kolkata. GIMT admission process for all the courses is done on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying exam, candidates need to clear Class 12 in the relevant subject. For PG courses, candidates need to clear graduation in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
After candidates meet the basic eligibility, they need to clear an online examination conducted by GIMT. The selected candidates need to appear for the selection interview on receiving an invite from the institute.

GIMT offers courses like B.Sc., BBA, MBA, and others. The fee at GIMT Kolkata can also be paid through Government Quota wherein the students have to pay INR 50,000 as the total fee. GIMT Kolkata fees can be paid either in semester installments or yearly installments. The breakdown of the total GIMT Kolkata fee is given below;
- Tuition fee - INR 2,45,000
- Development fee -INR 25,000
- Caution money - INR 5,000
- Total - INR 2,75,000
In case of yearly installments, students will have to pay an amount of INR 1,42,500 every year while an amount of INR 73,750 must be paid every semester in case of semester wise payments.
