GIMT Highlights 2025
Gandhi Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) was established in 2000 as Gandhi Academy of Management Studies. It is a private institute located at Salt Lake City, Kolkata. This institute started off to provide Hotel Management courses and later introduced programmes such as BBA and MBA to impart job-oriented courses. It is a strictly anti-ragging campus where the academic interests of all students are taken care off by the management.

GIMT Application Process 2025
GIMT admission process for all the courses is done on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying exam, candidates need to clear Class 12 in the relevant subject. For PG courses, candidates need to clear graduation in the relevant subject from a recognised university.
After candidates meet the basic eligibility, they need to clear an online examination conducted by GIMT. The selected candidates need to appear for the selection interview on receiving an invite from the institute.

GIMT, established in 2009, is located in Kolkata and is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health Sciences. Whereas, IMS Business School, founded in is said to be one of the best MBA colleges under Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University (MAKAUT) and is also affiliated to AICTE. GMIT offers multiple UG and PG courses primarily pertaining to the medical field, B.Sc., MBBA, and others, while the only course offered at IMSBS is MBA across multiple specializations.
