Candidates seeking admission to PhD must meet the following eligibility: 

• Eligibility: Master’s degree with a minimum of 55% aggregate in the concerned discipline
• Selection: Entrance exam (PhD Entrance Test (PET) conducted by the institute) score + Interview 

Exempted from PET:

1. Candidates with UGC-NET (including JRF)/ CSIR NET (including JRF)/ ICMR/ GATE/ GPAT/ SLET/ Teacher Fellowship
2. MPhil degree holders
3. Candidates serving as Project Fellows in the projects sanctioned by national funding agencies
4. Executives/ Administrators/ Engineers/ Scientists with at least TEN years of service in Govt./ Quasi Govt./ Judiciary Public sector organisations/ Public and Private limited companies

• Total fee: INR 90,000 (INR 1,60,000 for part-time)
