The institute also accepts CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and ATMA for MMS programmes. Additionally, candidates also reserves seat for MMS students, if they take admission on the basis of their CAT or other some national-based entrance exam.

The primary eligibility criteria required by GNIMS Mumbai for admissions to the MMS course is that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category candidates and candidates with disabilities). Moreover, the selection process is based on candidates achieving scores in (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET)/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT. In addition, 15% of the seats are fulfilled by the Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET) under All India Quota, and 15% of the seats are fulfilled by the CAT under All India Quota.
