How to Correct Errors in NTA NET Admit Card 2022?

In case, a candidate is not able to download his/her admit card or there is any discrepancy in the particulars given on the admit card, s/he should call the following helpline numbers of the NTA - 8076535482 and 7703859909. Candidates can call on these numbers on working days from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM. 

In case of any error on the NTA NET admit card, the official website of the exam informs, “In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make correction in the record later.”

Problems in downloading UGC NET Admit Card 2022

A candidate may face problems in downloading UGC NET admit card under the following circumstances:

Incomplete UGC NET application form

The official website of NTA states that UGC NET admit cards will not be issued to candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete due to any reason such as a blurry photograph, unsigned application, etc.

Non-fulfilment of UGC NET eligibility criteria

Admit cards will also not be issued to candidates who do not fulfil the UGC NET eligibility 2022. Regarding the same, the official website states, “Issue of Admit Cards, however, shall not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility which shall be further scrutinized at subsequent stages of the admission process.”

Incorrect credentials

In case, candidates forget their login credentials, they will not be able to download the admit card. In such a situation, candidates need to click on the “I can’t access my account” link in the admit card download window, which will help in the regeneration of the credentials.

Slow internet

In the case of no or slow internet, candidates will not be able to download the admit card. Therefore, candidates are advised to ensure a smooth internet connection before downloading the admit card.

UGC NET 2022 Exam Day Instructions & Documents to Carry

  • Do not forget to carry the admit card along with the following documents:
    • One passport-size photo (same as uploaded on the application form)
    • PwD certificate, if applicable
    • One original authorised photo ID (PAN card/ Driving License/ Voter ID/ Passport/ Aadhaar Card (With photograph)/ Aadhaar Enrolment No/ Ration Card)
