PML SD Business School Chandigarh.

Placements: Not that much. Actually, most of the students here are from family business backgrounds, so they don't even sit for placements. The students with potential mostly get placed. The highest till date from the 1st batch of the college is 22 LPA, the lowest is 4 LPA, and the average is 6 LPA. We are eligible for internships after the 2nd semester, and all students are required to do an internship and submit a report to the college. Roles like marketing, sales, finance, business analyst, etc.

Infrastructure: Actually, my course name is PGDM (MBA), which is not mentioned here, so I have to select it differently there. But this course is not in the main SD campus, but has different departments inside it for the MBA programme. Facilities like fully AC, Wi-Fi, library, rooms, canteen, and pantry facilities are also available. Infrastructure is very good. Hostel infrastructure is very old. Rooms are okay. But AC and non-AC rooms are available. Food quality is above average. Medical facilities are there, and a gym and reading room are also there.

Faculty: Yes, the teachers are quite helpful and friendly. They have good knowledge of their subject and corporate experience. The curriculum is not that industry-relevant, but the college gives the chance to meet industry leaders by conducting workshops. Semester exams are case-based to check students' understanding of the topic. The difficulty level is moderate.

Other: After my B.Com., I gave the CMAT exam to pursue my MBA. But a not-so-good score in CMAT led me to this college. The best thing is they provide a PGDM course, which is more practical in nature, unlike MBA (which is more theoretical). Campus life is good, and extracurricular activities are also there.

Placements: There were no placements in this college. If you want only placements, then don't choose this college. If you want to enjoy life in Chandigarh, then it's the best college. The placement cell never works, and it doesn't invite any company.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is great as the college always improve its campus and everything around. The college has the best buildings, desks and washrooms. Along with it, there are restrooms also, which are helpful for students to take rest in their free time. The college also has a good canteen.

Faculty: The course curriculum and faculty members in our college are great. Every course has a different value and is great. Faculty members have talent and knowledgeable. You can choose this college as it's best.

Review of the PGDMM course at GGDSD.

Placements: PGDMM placements need to be improved. There are no campus placements. Off-campus placements can fetch you 3 LPA to 4 LPA of an average package which can gradually be improved as you go ahead in your career. Also, the graduation course will impact your placements, like BBA and B.Com will fetch you better placements here.

Infrastructure: A decent infrastructure can be found here including projectors. Wi-Fi facility is also available on the campus, but the signals here are weak. A huge sports ground is also present here for the sports enthusiasts. The library here is fully equipped, and e-books are also available for student's reference.

Faculty: The course curriculum is up to date and is parallel to what's happening in the industry and the latest trends in the market, though some more practical aspects need to be inculcated in the curriculum. More industrial visits will be beneficial for the students. The faculty here are experienced and helpful.

Highly experienced faculty with a smiling attitude.

Placements: There are no placements for this course. There are no internships for this course as well. This course is for one year only, and the university syllabus followed also includes a project work which is to be done at the end under the guidance of the professors assigned.

Infrastructure: There are well-equipped labs, ventilated classrooms, fully furnished large library, etc. of high quality. The quality of food available in the canteen is not too good, and it is average. I didn’t face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure at the college.

Faculty: The faculty available were very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Board, as well as digital teaching methods, were used. We didn’t get any industry exposure. The course curriculum is useful for students who want to pursue further studies in management. It is also useful for the students who want to cover a gap of one year.
