The college helps provide practical knowledge.

Placements: Our department provides placements after the third year, and many companies visit for placements. Recently, Infosys visited. I don't know exactly the package, but it was around 2-3 LPA. Infosys is considered a top recruiting company. Almost 90 percent of students get placements. Top roles help in gaining practical knowledge and real-life case studies.

Infrastructure: Many facilities and infrastructure available, such as Wi-Fi for every hostel student, good classrooms, and a library. The quality of the hostel is also quite good. New hostels are being built for students. The food provided is liked by everyone, and I like it too.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They help in gaining practical knowledge and also solve problems. They support everything. They help make students ready to face everything. Semester exams are difficult but easy if studied, and the pass percentage is 40.

Other: I chose the course because I am interested in business. The best thing about the course is that it provides practical knowledge. I need to improve labs because there are fewer computers and more students. They organize a lot of fests and events, which makes studying here very exciting.

Excellent faculty with a good reputation, but dissatisfied with the cleanliness of the department.

Placements: The placement cell of the university is very good. The placement officer personally goes to students to tell them about registration for an internship. The last semester internship program is also very good. From my MBA department, 80% of students got placed in the last year in good companies.

Infrastructure: The whole building of the MBA department is very nice. It's in seminar circle shape and looks very nice. Although all the classrooms doesn't have AC but ventilation is good. The whole department has Wi-Fi for all students. The library and labs have full AC. But one concern is the cleanliness of the classroom, it's not that great.

Faculty: The faculty is very nice and helpful, with every faculty member being a Ph.D holder. The course curriculum is also good, with the assignment in which we have to collect data from real companies, etc. Semester exams are average, with proper study for 1 month, anyone can pass.

Other: Almost every month, some department has a fest or an event. Our department also organizes freshers and farewell events on its own, and industrial trips are also there. With the help of the faculty, tours to different places are also planned. One thing I would like to get better at is cleanliness, and this department also needs its own canteen.

The recruiting companies are Planet Park, Bandhan Bank, Nuvama, etc. Internship was mandatory in the 2nd semester. Some students find an internship according to their own choice.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the academic building is great. Each room has a seating capacity of 75 students. Computer labs are well furnished. Students are allowed to sit in the computer lab and do their work on the computer. Every type of book is available in the departmental library. Wi-Fi facility is also available.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and has much experience. The course curriculum is relevant and projects are given to the students. Semester exams are not much difficult almost all students get good marks. Before final exams, MSTs are conducted in every semester.

Review of Khalsa college commerce block.

Placements: The highest package being offered by college placement is 10-15 lacs per annum and the lowest is 5 lacs. This college is linked up with nearby cities like Chandigarh, Kharar, Mohali, Ludhiana, and Rajpura for the placements and other cities too, but I know only these ones.

Infrastructure: The commerce block is well maintained and infrastructure is very attractive. This building has 5 floors, including a basement. Each floor has halls for meetings and presentations that are used by teachers for examining the students. Juice bar is also available to the college. The hostel facility is far away from the college for which college vans are provided, but hostels are not so good .

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. When any student needs guidance, they are available in the staff rooms and always help the student to do what they get confused about. Teachers introduce a very amazing style of taking viva presentations, which is really impressive and prepares a student for their best life.

Other: MBA is the most demanding and offers highly paid jobs; that's why I opted for this course. I wish that they introduced more related concepts that are being used by the managers .

Our faculty members are very good and are always ready to help.

Placements: Nearly about 30 to 35% of the students were placed from the university. The highest salary package offered was 7 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Almost 80% of the students got internships. Top roles offered in our university are HR and marketing managers Recruiting companies are Wipro, Intel, Axis Bank, and HDFC Bank.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is good. Library is very good and we have comfortable chairs so the student can study well. There is high-speed internet available for the students. Hostels are also good and Wi-Fi is provided for the hostel students. Food, canteen, and medical facilities are very good.
