    B.Sc. in Zoology - Batch of 2025

This college is absolutely satisfied because of faculty. Good placements in 2025 and really good.
Placements: There are about max seats in my course of B.Sc. Zoology is in a batch, and in my batch, that is full. There is no specific package in my course, because it is a degree course, not a internship course. The top recruiting companies for my course are like research institutions, DRDO, etc. Many students got internships in research companies. Top roles offered in my course are DRDO officer, forest officer, Research officer, and manager in many biological fields.
Infrastructure: During my course, there are many facilities and infrastructure available for my department. Classrooms are fully developed and comfortable. Smart screens in the classroom are available. A developed laboratory is also there. Wi-Fi is available at any time during class. Library is good and has different types of books. The quality of the facilities in my hostel is good. The food quality is average in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are good. For sports and games, there are sports complexes in our hostel campus, such as cricket, badminton, volleyball, basketball, carrom, and chess are also available. The gym is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. This course is curriculum relevant and it makes the students industry ready, because during this course, the department takes the students on a study tour and conducts many activities. They give many projects to students to make them ready for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in it since my high school time. I feel more confident in this course. The best things in my course are getting knowledge about the lifestyle mechanisms in the bodies of humans, animals, and many organisms. The things I wish will be better about my course are more knowledge. Many events and fest occurs like Annual function, food festival, and some ceremonies. Scholarship is also available in this course, such as state scholarship and National scholarship.

    Absolutely fine college in Rourkela.
Placements: The percentage of student is low, but total there are 32 students in our batch, I have not attend the interview so I am not aware of it, recruiting company is TCS and VEDANTA, all my course mate got admission into PG so nobody has got in that, and the roles are offered are engineering executive and head electrical officer. .
Infrastructure: There are better equipment for practical's, for the hostel I will say no because our course is a self-financing course so no hostel rooms are provided, the food are above average I am not into that but I have seen many times there is a separate dining hall and good medical facility also.
Faculty: Absolutely the teacher are helpful always, it can make you industry ready but sometimes it depend on your study and hard work, semester exam are difficult than the expectations, and according to the exams the passing marks is 33 or 33 percent to qualify the exam.
Other: I am not ready for that course because I want to get into the computer Science department but didn’t make it, so I got into that course and the best thing of the course is the practical's, the course is absolutely fine nothing to be improve, and better scholarships are provided.

As its a government college so it's not going to get you any placement .
Placements: There were no placements services available. As it was a government college so it was not going to get, and students get any placements. Students were just going to get a degree, but it had a good infrastructure and environment for study, and the percentage of getting high grades was good. I would recommend students to take admission in it.
Infrastructure: It provides a library, laboratories, and big classroom facilities.
Faculty: All faculty members were highly qualified and their teaching quality was average.

    My College.
Placements: Around 20% got placement in my batch. We are around 30 in class, and 6 got selected by different companies and got placement. I don't know about the highest and the lowest. I don't know what the top recruits are. Around 20% got internships. Maybe a botanist. Most prefer M.Sc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There is no Wi-Fi. Labs are good and well-maintained. Classrooms are fine. The library is good. The food available in the canteen is not up to mark but satisfactory. No medicine facility. We play sports and games on the ground. I also play volleyball sometimes.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They know what they are teaching. Some are doctors. Teaching quality is overall good. The kind of course is outdated. The course doesn't make students industry-ready. Semesters are a bit tough and passable. The pass percentage is around 90% in my class.
