B.M. Institute of Engineering and Technology is an engineering college, private, affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi, and approved by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi, established in the year 1999 by Bhagwan Mahaveer Education Trust. The institute has been offering various undergraduate and postgraduate programs like B.Tech and MBA, with a main focus on quality education and proper placement for the students.

No it doesn't provide direct admission in any of the courses. For B.E admission, admissions are done through Anna University's single window system. Candidates need to apply for TNEA and can select their courses.Admission to all undergraduate programmes are through the single window system. Atharva Institute of Management Studies (AIMS) is a self-financed college, chartered under University of Mumbai and recognised by All India Council for technical Education (AICTE). Launched in 1999, AIMS is a self-financed institute that provides a variety of postgraduate and undergraduate courses in the field of management. The institute has a total intake of around 600 students every year, with a faculty-to-student ratio of around 1:10. The costs of the MBA programme at AIMS are between INR 1.2 Lacs and 2.5 Lacs a year depending on the course and the field of study.

The selection criteria for B.E. / B.Tech courses at Alagappa Chettiar Government College of Engineering and Technology (ACGCET) are done based on the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) process.
