Good infrastructure, good sports complex, but didn't get enough support from faculty.
Placements: The Electronics department provides a decent placement, while other departments have very low placements compared to Electronics. Every final-year Electronics student will be interviewed and examined by famous companies like Wipro and Infosys. If you pass the course, you definitely get a placement. But the chances of passing B.Sc. Electronics are quite tough. Some other departments, like Bachelor of Arts, didn’t even provide placements.
Infrastructure: The science courses, like B.Sc. Electronics and B.Sc. Physics, have well-equipped advanced labs. The Electronics lab is really good. The computer lab is just above average. The new library building is good with more than one lakh books. It is well computerized.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good. Electronics is good enough, but other complementary subjects like Maths and Physics should be taught better. The syllabus is pretty good for the future, but the exams come very shortly, so we can’t study well because of the pressure. Kannur University should compromise on that.
Other: B.Sc. Electronics is good. But you should have more focus on the studies and subjects. The campus is really peaceful. It has good natural beauty. The quality of events and fests depends on the students and college union. If they have enough potential, the programs will be great. The programs held in the years 2021-2023 were better compared to the previous years. Government College Mananthavady provides every scholarship given by the government.

Origin of my career journey .
Placements: Around 32 students are admitted during 2020-2023 of academic year in Economics batch of government college Mananthavady. By getting an economics degree we can follow our further studies like post graduation, becoming lecture, attaining doctorate degree (Ph.D)
Infrastructure: Well understandable lectures are the main characteristic of the faculty members who provides classes. Highly great availability of library and lab facilities are another feature. Festivals, important academic days, awareness programmes, are often conducted through out the course period .
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful highly qualified, truly appropriate, friendly character, well trained, highly talented and appreciated also experienced. All of them were have doctorate degree in Economics which shows their expertise in subject of economics .
