Underdeveloped, unorganised and college cum village.
Placements: Every year 40-50 students approximately get enrolled here. After completion of the course, some open their own clinic, some opt for competitive exams, and some become medical officers. During our internship period, we are taken to Sadar Hospital. After doing this course, you can open your clinic or go for PG courses or competitive exam.
Infrastructure: The college was constructed a few years ago but the maintenance is very bad. There are no facilities available as required in every college and hostel. This college needs to be developed and facilities like room for interns, playground, proper water and electricity supply should be offered.
Faculty: Some teachers are very nice and some come to class seldomly. The library needs to be restocked. All teachers are qualified, but only a few carry out their duties well, the rest of them just pass time. Exams conducted are not very tough.
Other: I chose this course because I couldn't make to MBBS seat. This BHMS course is also nice. It's a developing and advancing field. In our college, there is hardly any fest or event conducted.
There is a cricket tournament and a volleyball tournament. Teacher's Day, Hahnemann Day, and Saraswati Puja are celebrated.

Jharkhand Only Single Government AYUSH Medical College.
Placements: Generally after passing from my college students works in multiple fields like in a private hospital setup, or got hire by Jharkhand or any state government as AYUSH medical officer, or get into a PG degree. Almost every student prepare for AIAPGT but after getting pass out from the college generally people start there own clinic then going for a job.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well spacious but no Wi-Fi is available in the college library is fine with all the books that you need in your whole 5.5 years degree. Labs are fine working, most advance part of the college is the Pathology lab. People will enjoy the lab but still some facilities are still under maintenance they will get to wrok soon.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. It's a BHMS single degree college and it's a professional course so no doubt curriculum is fully relevant from your theories to practical to hospital grounds. Exams are the toughest parts in the college as usual it's a medical college not a joke so be prepared for it.
