This section provides information about my batch and course. My batch duration is 2025–2028, and the course is Diploma in Automation & Robotics at GP Ahmedabad. I chose this course because of its future growth and focus on Industry 4.0, which offers high-paying roles, for example, placements in companies like Siemens with packages around 7 LPA. The best things about this course are access to advanced learning opportunities and industry-oriented knowledge. I wish there were more improvements in terms of hands-on practice with advanced industrial-grade robots. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are part of the overall college experience. The best features of the course include access to the Pi-Lab, which is an open-access innovation hub for creative engineering, and participation in Robofest. Areas that need improvement include more hands-on time with advanced industrial-grade robots and enhanced campus-wide Wi-Fi for real-time cloud programming. Campus life and facilities focus strongly on innovation. The Pi-Lab is open 24/7 for project work and Robofest preparation. The college conducts fests such as Technosarita (Tech Fest) and the annual sports week. Scholarships are well supported through MYSY and Digital Gujarat. The campus is located in the heart of Ahmedabad (Ambawadi), which provides excellent connectivity and good industrial exposure.

Future of robotics at Government Polytechnic Ahmedabad.
Placements: I am studying in the automation and robotics branch so we have a dedicated. Mentor for the placement, Shreeji Gandhi sir manages all the placement work so they try to give the best placement to the students. The top industries such as Amul Dairy, Banas Dairy, Siemens ,L&T and they do their best for us. They offer us many internships for our experience and also provide a industrial visit.
Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure such as a canteen, gym, library and many other things. There is also a hostel for girls with good infrastructure and a capacity of 100 to 150. Especially in our branch, we have a lab setup for our learning and experience with sensors.
Faculty: There are the best faculty for every subjects like we have 5 to 6 subjects in 1st year so for mathematics, we have Dr. Dhruti Patel mam, Dr. Dushyant Patel sir and Ashwin sir for physics. We have the best faculty, Pankaj Sharma sir, Dr. Uday Trivedi sir and Nikhil Joshi sir. All the things that are set up by our mentors profesors Urvashi Soni and others. Zankhna Mehata named the PI lab.
Other: The best college for a diploma in Ahmedabad with the best network of transportation.

It is an excellent college. I recommend students take admission to this college.
Placements: For students who want placements after completing their Diploma, they should not have a backlog, and if possible students should clear all backlogs before placement starts. If students get placed in placements, then they will get a minimum package of 4 LPA. The highest package is more than 6.5 LPA. It is all about our skills to get good placements in companies like IBM, Tata Power, and L&T.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel for girls not for boys but girls hostel is very good. The infrastructure is good. It has facilities like a security guard 24x7. The cleaning is excellent. It provides water supply all the time. It provides a garden for free time. It has a better and a relaxed environment.
Faculty: If we talk about faculty members then I have no words for them. They all are very good. Faculty members prepare us for the future not for only exams but also give us knowledge about real-life company work and how to perform in real life to get a good package.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a computer engineer. If we talk about functions in college then we celebrate Navratri, an annual function, and many competitions. It also arranges hackathons and many other things.

Placements: 60% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 3 Lacs per annum and the lowest is 2 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are Tata, Aditya Birla, Torrent, and Amul. The college doesn't provide internships; instead, students choose for themselves.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are well-managed. This college doesn't provide a hostel for boys. The hostel is available only for girls with proper security. The canteen is average. Sports and games like kabaddi and badminton are played in this college.
Faculty: The teaching quality needs to improve. The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The semester exams are hard in this college. The passing percentage is 23 out of 70. The course is relevant in all aspects and makes students ready for industry and companies.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in the electrical field. Scholarships are provided. Fests and activities are done by this college.

Placements: Placements are not good in our college. A few companies visit our campus and provide contract jobs for 2 years. The salary packages are low. Our college provides internships. Many companies visit our college and provide a salary package of 1.5 LPA - 2 LPA.
Infrastructure: In the IT department, classrooms are well-ventilated and good. The infrastructure of the IT department is not well-maintained. Computers are not in good condition.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, knowledgeable, and supportive. The course curriculum is outdated. Semester exams are average. Students can gain good marks.

I am satisfied with our campus and faculty members.
Placements: The average salary offered is Rs. 30,000 per month. Many government and private companies visit our college and conduct interviews.
Infrastructure: Our college has many departments. All departments have their classrooms for lectures. They have labs like a physics lab, a chemistry lab, a computer lab, and common labs for different subjects. All departments have very good facilities for basic needs like washrooms, drinking water, etc.
Faculty: Many professors and teachers are very good at teaching. They teach us uniquely. Students can understand them easily. They are highly qualified. Some of them are Ph.D. holders.
Other: The course intake is 120 students. They are friendly. It is the best college for diploma courses.
