I'm dissatisfied with washrooms, events, fest, and activities. The whole scenario of Polytechnic, Bh

Placements: Our attendance is 40 among them, 10 students are placed till now. The average package is offered of 1.8 LPA to 3 LPA. Our whole strength got internships in companies like Adani, Welspun, Ashapura Group of Industries, some private workshops, etc. We are getting good placements from companies like BKT, Adani, B. Mangatram Hyundai, etc.

Infrastructure: Facilities are average. Washrooms are pathetic, average classrooms, library, and labs are better but infrastructure is old. Wi-Fi is good. Hostel facilities are nice instead of canteen food. We get hot water in washrooms and drinking is also good. Rooms, cupboards, beds, and reading table are all nice. Canteen is not the best just okay. Availability of food is pure. We don't get a whole meal. Only snacks and little fast food are available. Medical facilities are nice. There are lectures on sports and games. Availability of sports items is great. There are separate celebrations of sports day. College draws different sports tournaments for us.

Faculty: Teachers of our college are knowledgeable and qualified with degrees like Ph.D. M.E., M.Tech, M.Sc., etc. They are never rude to us with any queries. They are helpful to us. Course curriculum is relevant for the students to be industry-ready. We get practical knowledge by studying the basics of electrical lines and industrial knowledge from the faculty members. Semester examinations are difficult, papers are made by Gujarat Technological University. Passing marks in semester exams are 23 of 70.

Other: I don't know the best things. But I chose this course because of my father. My father is an electrician. He has been running a workshop since 1973. He told me to do this course. We do not have many events, fests, or extracurricular activities. I can say, it is below average.

College is good. A famous and big company comes every year, so students get placement.

Placements: The SPI of students ranges from around 7 to 9. The salary packages offered range from the highest of 3 LPA to the lowest of 1.80 LPA, with an average package of 2.40 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Adani Solar and Suzlon. Every year, about 50 to 60% of students get placed. The roles offered are mainly related to electricity distribution and maintenance.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi does not work, but labs are good. Classrooms are average, and the library is good, although students can't take books home for reading. The hostel room is excellent, but there is no food service available in the hostel. Other things are average. Overall, the hostel facility is good. It is environment-friendly.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and have good teaching skills. They speak different languages like English, Gujarati, and Hindi for better understanding. The course is not relevant. Students need practical knowledge, not only book knowledge. Semester exams are helpful for students, and 85% of students pass.
