Government School of Nursing, Pathanamthitta, is a good college.

Placements: There are a total of 60 students in this course. About 20 students are in each batch. There are 3 batches with one internship batch. All students get internships from this course. This course is for three years. We work as registered nurses after graduation.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are fine. All labs are available for all subjects, including the computer lab. The classrooms are good and well ventilated. The hostel facilities are average. The quality of the food is good. The food is served according to the choices of students.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and efficient enough. They are graduates. They are helpful in solving doubts. They will conduct exams and revisions. This curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are almost fine but not easy. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: This course provides great job opportunities.

Candidate must have passed 10 + 2 examination with English and must have obtained mentioned marks at the qualifying examination and English individually for any recognized board. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government. However Science is preferable. Candidates who have passed 10+2 with English having mentioned marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian Nursing council OR 10+2 with English having same mentioned marks in Vocational Stream-Health care Science from a recognized CBSE board/Centre, are also Eligible. (Note: 5% is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.)
